I just booked and paid for breakfast at Cindy's for 3 adults and 1 child for a morning in June. I didn't know that I would be charged at the time of booking so I was caught off guard by that. I was also in a rush when I booked and didn't take time to figure out if the amount was right. So now I'm wondering if it was correct. The amount was $172 and change which included the tax and tip. I expected the tax to be added on but the addition of the tip for a party of 4 kind of surprised me. Anyone know if that is standard now? And how much of a tip do they add on? TIA

Prepayment in full for CRT has been the standard since 2006. And yes, your payment includes tax and tip.

Don't know the amount of tip they charge but 18% seems to be the WDW standard.

I dont know if its a holiday or peak issues. But I paid $155 for 3 adults and 1 child.

This is probably it - peak time or "holiday" surcharges for buffets and fixed-price meals are in effect in June.

If youre not on the DDP you pay up front for tax and 18% tip. If your service is horrible you can always talk to a manager and see about changing the tip amount

From all appearances, the tip appears to be 18% of the food portion of the meal. Part of the charge is allocated for the photo, and that portion is not considered when they calculate the tip.
