I have been to Cindy's a few times. I was just wondering how the food and interaction with character princesses compare. I have never been to the Princess breakfast at Epcot. To be honest I hate the food at Cindy's and it always seems to be cold.
So can anyone compare these two breakfasts for me?

I am thinking of taking DD and DN (DN has never been to either or WDW for that matter) on our next trip.

Thanks,
Sharon

We went to both CRT and Princess Storybook in September and we are going back to them next week. We thought the food at Princess Storybook was great, it was tastey and hot, we especially liked the eggs. We thought the food was better at PSB than CRT but CRT did have delicious potatos. The setting in Norway was great for a princess breakfast. The characters were very good with our daughter and the servers were very nice as well but we did like the princesses a little better at CRT. I think you and your family will enjoy Princess Storybook if you go.

I think the atmosphere in the castle is a bit more princessy, but the character interaction was the same at both places for us. I'd also agree that the food was better at the Storybook princess breakfast and definitely hot. Either way, it's a good princess fix for your DD and DN.

It was my 2nd time at the castle breakfast & my 1st time at PSB. I gotta say - we enjoyed the PSB much more! The food was better & the interaction was much much better. We were so rushed at CRT - it was ridiculous. The princesses weren't spaced out at all & came by one after the other - they spent no time interacting with my girls. At PSB, it was at a slow pace, the atmosphere is great, the food is good & we had a much more enjoyable time. My vote is for PSB!

I must agree that Cindy's has gone downhill over the years. We still enjoy it, but I think it's time for a change. In 1998, it was magic! In 2001, it was still a lot of fun ~ great characters, but the food and the service was ordinary. In 2002, it was McDonald's.

We love the castle so we will have lunch there next trip. I would like to to the Epcot breakky too.

Thanks for starting this thread. I am interested too! S

Hi Sharon.. why eat cold food?... just tell the waiter your food is cold and to please get you a fresh plate. I'm sure they would fall all over themselves to make it right.

The meal I had there was excellent, hot and fresh... but if it hadn't been I would have done something on the spot... you are entitled to a nice breakfast.

I liked Cindi's better for atmosphere and space.

The PSB was much easier to get a ressie. My concern there is the tables were literally on top of each other. If I backed my chair up at the same time as the table behind me neither of us would get out. I think had we ended up at a "middle table" picture taking would have been hard. We were on the food aisle, so the girls just stood there.

Both are extra from for the DD's. You can't go wrong from that standpoint!

Good luck
Sandy

Is Belle at both breakfasts? My 5 year old niece is coming with us in October and she loves Belle--she likes the other princesses too, but Belle is by far her favorite. Is one breakfast bettert han the other for seeing Belle? We're definitely going to book PSB since it's easier to get, but should we try for CRT too?

(Sorry don't know how to quote in this board LOL)

We did send it back the last two time (out of 4 times) we were at CRT. Both times it didn't come back much warmer than it was when it left us. The first two times (in mid-90s) that we were there the food was hot when it arrived at the table , it also wasn't as rushed, and the wait staff were much friendlier than the last times we were there. I think it is probably a demand issue. everyone knows about CRT and it is a must if you have a princess crazy young daughter. We wouldn't be bothering with it at all this yr but my DN is going with us who has never been to WDW so I wanted her to have a little extra magic ( ie meaning seeing princesses).
BTW, I love your little cat for your name! It is quite unique and very cute.

Could someone tell me what the food is served at PSB? I know I have read it somewhere before but don't recall.
Thanks again,
Sharon

Belle is generally at both but they never guarantee any characters (We went to Alice's tea party and Alice was a no show, but that's another story:( ).

Any character meal is good because you will see all the characters. They come from table to table and make it super easy. The only thing I'll say about PSB is that Belle was in her blue dress, my niece was disappointed it wasn't the yellow gown but as I mentioned earlier, she would never fit between the tables in the yellow dress. I don't have my Cindi's picture handy and can't recall which dress.

Hope this helps
Sandy
