Cindy's vs. Akershus

Each time we have gone to DW, we have tried to book the princess dinner at Akershus because we have two dd's. This time we are thinking about booking the Cinderella's castle dinner instead. I have heard mixed reviews about Cindy's and I need some feedback. Although the food at Akershus has never impressed us, it is only 1 table service and the girls see a variety of princesses. Would a change be worth it?

I guess it depends on the type of experience you want? If you want that magical Cinderella Castle experience with the fairy godmother and the mice and a pic with Cindy... then go for CRT... BUT... if you want a picture and autograph dinner with Princesses then go for Akershus. CRT only has Cindy before you go eat (you get pics with her and they give you a small package of them), then you eat in the castle (beautiful). Fairy Godmother and the mice come out for a magical song. They do not do autographs and are not supposed to stop for pics either. The last two times we went we did get pics with the mice but FG would not stop. BUT... IF you can get in right before WISHES it becomes even more magical as you can request a window seat and have a once in a lifetime of view as they dim the lights and pipe in the music! It is great!
As far as the food... I think they are both on the same level with me. Not excellent but ok. I go more for the experience than the food.

Hope this helps: we had the lunch at Akershus just a few weeks ago & all three of us (all adults!) loved the food & service.
The Princesses (Sleeping Beauty, Jasmine, Cinderella & Ariel) spent time at our table & signed autographs & had time for pics at each & every table.
Beforehand we had the 'special' pic taken with Belle, who not only was drop dead beautiful but spectacular in dealing with small children.
