Here's for those who asked for pictures. We got some good ones. I don't know how to post pictures here on the board, so here's links to one of my websites.

They can be ordered by calling the Grand Floridian and asking for their bakery. They will serve them at any of the Grand Floridian restaurants. I paid $8.00 each, but have heard here on the DIS that they are now charging $14.00. I would ask before ordering, as it seems they might be raising the price. Names on the plates were added for free.

Yes, the price is now $14.00. We ordered 2 slippers and 1 order of dog bones for last week and thats what we paid. They were worth it! ;)

They look fantastic ~ Now I am hungry !!!!

When I ordered them they told me they were $8.00. When we got our bill they charged $14.00. I told them of the price I was quoted and they did honor it. That seems like a pretty big increase in price in just the space of a few months - they must have gotten too popular from the boards!

I thought I had read from another post that the plates they are served on are white chocolate as well.... your pictures look like real plates, am I missing something?

How cool! My daughters would go crazy over the dog bones! Are these only served at the Grand Floridian? (We saw a special on the food channel recently that showed how they put the pictures on the plates -- pretty neat!)

Good eye! I didnt even notice that. The ones we got last week were in fact served on plates of white chocolate. Let me see if I can post a picture. Sometimes it works for me, sometimes it doesnt.

If these came out you can see Eeyores pictures are much nicer than mine, but I just wanted to show the plate.

Becky's pictures look like they are on real plates. The ones that CamColt posted (as stated) are made of chocolate. Maybe that is why the price difference????
More chocolate = more $$$ ??

Yes, mine were on plates. Those look really neat CamColt, perhaps that IS why the price went up. Or else maybe you can ask for one or the other and the price will be different. Neat touch!!! That's an awful lot of white chocolate though, I could barely finish what was ON the plate, much less eat the plate itself!!!!:teeth: :teeth:

Can you order these for dessert at 1900 Park fare? Or do you have to make a special call to the bakery?

Good point! That could be why the price difference. I hadnt thought of that.

Eeyore, you are right. After we ended up with 2 slippers and 1 dog bones we realized how much there really was. We ended up taking the leftovers with us and munched on them throughout the week. We even ate some in the airport and brought some home for family to try. Needless to say there was a LOT of chocolate there. Without the plate I wouldnt have thought they were worth $14.00, but with it, I thought it was well worth it.

Donette, they need to be ordered in advance. I believe you can have them served at your dinner at 1900 Parke Faire, but they need an advance order.

I just ordered one of each for my niece and nephew (6 1/2yr old twins) for our upcoming trip. The price is $14.00 and I even had to give a credit card #. I spoke with a very nice gentleman named Phillip, he was very helpful. I can't wait to see the looks on their faces as I have aleady told them that the characters knew they were coming and might have some surprises for them.

Ok, now I'm hungry!

Thanks for the pics, they look great! I'll try to order these on our next trip as my dd's would love them.:sunny:

I am going to stay at the WL do you think they would send it over ? Maybe the Conceirge would do that for me ? What do you think ?

I should add~~~but you can always try if you want. They have to be ordered, I think, at least 24 hours in advance.
