Some background...
DBF and I went to WDW last Jan, and our last night's dinner on the DDP was at the Castle (back when it was still 1TS). We weren't impressed with the food, and agreed it wouldn't be on our list to return till we had kids.
Now we're in the initial planning stages of a Sept-Oct '07 trip, and the other woman is a disney newbie- she'd love to be able to experience the castle.
Since we're not looking to spend tons of credits on a mediocre meal for 4 of us, I'm starting to wonder if it might be fun to make reservations for just the two of us for breakfast or lunch, and surprise her with it. What do you think? Would we be awkward at a princess meal as two adults? (I'm planning on going to LTT, but face characters seem more awkward somehow...) Would we be horrible for taking two spots away from little girls? Would it be worth the still-hefty $70 for breakfast or lunch for two of us? If we do it, which meal would be better? Thanks so much!
