Hi pplz. For those of you who have used the coach, can you please answer these questions. I would really help me out! Thanx in advance!

1) I read that the coach can only be used at the Wedding Pavilion and the Grand Floridian. Is that true? What if the reception is in Epcot?

2) Is it possible to get it going one way? For those that used the vestibule in the Wedding Pavillion to get ready, did you ride the coach there anyway?

3) Is it truly worth the expense? It looks so nice in pictures. What is it like in person? What did people (guests, attendants, park guest) think about it?

OK anyone from DFTW department if you read this do NOT shoot me LOL but I would be lying to you DaDivatude if I said that the GF and the WP are the only places you can have the coach, you would have to see with your Wedding Planner if it was possible to have the coach at Epcot, but I can't say it's never been done.

I beleive that there is only one cost for the coach so you pay the price on however you want to use it, I'll be surprised if that is negotiable in all honesty and from my own knowledge of weddings I have been to at the WP where the Bride had the Coach they got ready at The GF or elsewhere thenwent to the Vestibule in the coach and then just chilled and settled in the Vestibule rather than actually get ready there. I'm not saying no-one has done that I just personally have not read anyone doing that.

I didn't get married at the WP so I never really thought about having the coach because I believe the Coach goes with the WP -a gain that's my personal cinderella thought. Those that have had the coach where I have been present it has been a truly magical experience as a guest to watch and the perfect Magical Staged Exit - truly wonderful to see. If you have that kind of money to spend on something so grand for such a short time then do it, or maybe you have to meet your minimums then again I say do it!

You can also use the coach at Sea Breeze Point and in Epcot. However, the coach does not take you to the reception. It takes you on a staged entrance and a staged exit (meaning they start you somewhere close by for the entrance, and for the exit you are brought back to the ceremony site after the photographer shoots pix of you "leaving").

I'm sure you could just use it one-way but, as I said, it's not real transportation anyway. Also, the bride's vestibule at the WP is not really for full-on getting ready. It's more of a waiting area.

This is one of those personal things - everyone decides for themselves whether or not they think it's worth the money. I can tell you that I have never heard anyone say they regret it! ;)

I am getting married at SBP and I am using the carriage. They told me that I have to find transportation to the Boardwalk from my room at GF and then I get on the carriage somewhere on the Boardwalk. Its more of a showpiece than actual transportation. Its is basically something that looks pretty in pictures and gives you an experience that you probably would never have. :cutie:

Yep... we're having the carriage from BW "entrance" to SBP. My planner also told me that we can do it from YCG too.
I haven't seen a lot of pictures of the carriage at SBP or YCG tho... I hope it'll be pretty since our wedding is in 6 days... LOL!!!

Oh my goodness that's really soon! Have a wonderful wedding! :wizard:

We had the Coach at our wedding back in January. I got dressed at the GF (where we did pictures) and then the coach took me, my parents, and my brother to the WP. I think it might be kind of hard to get dressed in the Bride's Vestibule because it actually is not very big -- especially if you will have bridesmaids with you getting dressed as well.

Stan just posted the first half of our wedding so you can see where the coach came to get us, etc. We are really glad that we did it and it was one of the most special parts of the wedding. The guests loved it too -- apparently, some of them lined up along the windows at the wedding pavilion when they saw it coming!

HTH! :)

We had cinderellas carriage, it is a must definitely worth the money. We had a intimate wedding and only had 17 people so we didn't mind spending a little extra on what we wanted. I felt it was good value for money, it takes you from the GF to the WP and then you get a staged exit and photos and then it takes you back to the GF for the reception. you certainly feel like a princess.

our guests loved it, the pictures were amazing and we would certainly pay it again.
