Cindy's Breakfast w/bus transportation ????

Hi All,

My friend has Cindy Breakfast ressies for 8:10 am and the park does not open until 9am... What time do the busses start running from Pop Century? She thought an hour before the park opens.. Ifso, she will never make it.

The busses start an hour before the parks open. On our early mornings, we grab a cab.

Where do you get a cab from your resort? Do you need to call one? I never really paid attention to them before but like the OP we too have an 8:10 ADR for CRT. Thanks

There are special "character buses" running in time to get people to their ADRs. We caught the bus at about 7:00 am at ASMU for our 8:10 ADR at CP in May. This was on a day when MK opened at 9:00. We were at the MK gate by 7:25.

I read somewhere they were discontinuing the character meal buses due to lack of interest.

Cabs are usually outside of the resorts (we have stayed at ASM, WL, POFQ).
We just asked at the desk and one was there in a matter of 2 - 5 minutes
(they are parked outside). I would take a cab to avoid the stress of the bus.

She'll be fine at Pop. I was just there Sept 3-10. I had a tour at 8:30 and had to be there for 8:15am....and the Magic Kingdom bus came really early. (not the Special Bus...although the desk told me it would be a Special bus)

We were at the gates by like 7:30. They open the turnstiles at 7:45..lots of time to walk up to the Castle..and snap pictures before her reservation!

The queue to enter the Breakfast/Tour before the park opens is on the Right side of the train station.

That rumor was quickly killed by the person who started it. The busses are still running

How & Where did you catch them?

We caught it right where we would normally catch a bus to go to MK - at the regular MK bus stop at ASMU. It was not stressful at all - very easy and convenient - no special arrangements required. We plan to do the same thing in October. This time, I'm planning to catch a slightly later bus, say 7:15-7:25, because they don't let you into the park until 8:00 am anyway. We were the first people in line at the gate, but it was kind of a long wait until 8:00 am.

When we made our ADR for the CRT breakfast at 8:20 the CM suggested that we drive from the Wilderness Lodge. I would take a cab or drive since so much effort went into the reservation and you don't want to be late and have them tell you "sorry".

Do not listen to anything any Cast Member tells you about transportation unless he/she is wearing the purple pants of the bus drivers. Disney absolutely has early buses running for breakfasts and tours. The earliest buses start 45 minutes prior to the first scheduled breakfast of that day.
Anyone trying to take a taxi to the Magic Kingdom will find they they cannot do so. Only Disney buses are allowed near the MK entrance. All other traffic must go to the TTC and then you can either boat or monorail over from there.
If you feel safer taking a taxi I suggest you take one from your resort to the Contemporary and take the 10 minute walk to the Magic Kingdom. Note that taxis are normally waiting outside all WDW resorts. If one is not there a Cast Member will get one for you right away. Definitely a fast and pretty reasonable way to get around WDW. But for early breakasts and tours Disney does provide buses from all their resorts normal bus stops.
