Cindy's breakfast and the front of the castle?

We have a PS at Cindy's breakfast for 10:45 and when I booked it the CM said to make sure I'm there about 1/2 hour before because of the celebration on stage infront of the castle. If it starts then we can't get into the castle for our PS. I'm assuming it is the group dance with all the characters, but why can't we go in the back way into the castle from the dumbo ride instead of the front way.
Is there only one way into the castle which is the front way?

I am anxious to hear this response too. I have a 10:50 booked and the CM failed to mention the show.

I think Disney dining is telling you this, because you can't walk through the castle, but around it. You can still access the restaurant entrance while the performance is going on, but like you said from the back entrance. My guess is that they want you to have extra time to get around the show, which is entire possible, just takes a few extra minutes.

We found we could not cut through the castle during the show. We had to walk all the way around. Just plan extra time. My friend had a window view out the back during on of the shows. She said Peter Pan went running by there window. What a treat.
