Last year I ordered a slipper at the GF for our dinner during our trip. However when we got their they said the order got lost and they could not find it. I had already given them all the info when I ordered (CC, Names ect..) so I thought it would be ready, I did this about 2 months in advance. We ate at the GFC that day and everything was great but that and the waitress was so upset she cried cause it was not how she wanted us to remember our day. But it was all ok cause she was wonderful and so was our dinner. Now here is my question. We are not eating at the GFC or any of the other places there. Can I still order the slipper and have it at a counter service or some other way. Since 1900 PF took over GFC we are not eating there, so sad. But my question is how can I get the slipper I have been waiting 2 years for? Any ideas?

Thanks!

You can only order/get this if you are eating at a GF restaurant or at Cinderella's table. Maybe get an ADR for CRT an enjoy in the Castle!

This seems to be one of those things it depends on who you talk to.

A few years ago, we (actually my mother) was told you had to have it delivered to a restaurant in the GF. So then a year later we called and asked if we could have it delivered to the Mizners Lounge or the counter service area. They told us there was no need and we could pick it up.

We ordered 2 slippers and an order of dog bones and were able to pick them up at the lobby entrance to 1900 Park Faire. They packed them up in bakery type boxes for us to take. We ended up going to the Mizners Lounge to eat them anyway, but we didnt need to.

I would give them a call to see what they have to say.

Can someone please tell this Disney newbie what a Cinderella slipper is? I'm assuming it's something you eat, and I'd love to hear the all the details! TIA

They no longer allow pick ups for any of their cakes/slipper desserts. As others have said, it can only be pre-ordered for GF guest's rooms and their restaurants or at CRT.

They only require 48 hours so you really shouldn't order a specialty dessert much earlier than that as there's a greater chance it will get lost.

If you insist on ordering a specialty dessert early, call again 48 hours before to confirm it.
