Ok, let me see if I understand this...

The Character meal is the breakfast.

The lunch and dinner is just in the castle and no Cinderella y/n?

The character meal is breakfast but occasionally Cinderella and her fairy godmother do visit during lunch and supper.

Disney Crazy Debbie ::MinnieMo

1975 - Off-site, Holiday Inn, Orlando
1976 - Day visit, February and April
1981 - Lake Buena Vista
2000 - Caribbean Beach Resort
2004 - Port Orleans French Quarters
August 2006 - Beach Club Resort/Cruise Wonder

Thanks, here's hoping that I can get a PS for the CIndy Breakfast then... oh dear ...

Ok then what does this mean... I found it elsewhere here at DIS:

"A Fairytale Lunch at Cinderella's Royal Table " :

12:00 - 3:00pm

$23.99 - Ages 10 and up

$12.99 - Ages 3 - 9

This meal will begin with a family style salad with Prosciutto, Mozzarella, Cheese and other delicacies.

Ages 10 and up can select one entree such as Salmon, Pasta Pomadore, Pork Tenderloin and Blueberry Cobbler for dessert.

Ages 3 - 9 can select Chicken Strips, Hamburger, Cheeseburger or Hot Dog and a Crown Sundae for Dessert.

For character dining at Cinderella's Castle, a credit card deposit is required and the person whose card is used must be attending. (A photo ID may be requested.) Due to limited seating capacity, this meal is sold out within minutes of becoming available. Be sure to call 407-WDW-DINE exactly 180 days in advance.

Starting on February 1, 2006, the price increases and will include a photo package. A picture will be taken of your party with Cinderella in the restaurant lobby. The photo packet has four 4x6 prints, one 6x8 print, and a 6x8 photo of the castle presented in a Cinderella themed folder. (Parties of 1-6 get one photo packet, parties of 7-11 get two, parties of 12-15 get three and parties of 16 or more get six photo packages.

When booking a Cinderella Breakfast or Lunch for 2/1/06 and beyond, full payment is required. There is a 24 hour cancellation policy. No walk-up reservations will be offered.

After February 1, 2006 the prices will increase to:

Breakfast -

$31.99 ages 10 and up

$21.99 ages 3-9

Lunch -

$33.99 ages 10 and up

$12.99 ages 3-9

This is why I am confused... perhaps I will just call tomorrow for clarification. Perhaps for the lunch, she only stays in the lobby for pictures and doesn't come to the tables and stuff?????

Sorry I am such a n00b :P

Thanks

I was under the impression that lunch as well as breakfast was now a Princess character meal.

It better be!! I just booked lunch for 3 of us and they said Cindy and others will be there...if not, I will cancel!

Breakfast and lunch have been princess meals for quite some time. They are a set price and a set menu. Currently and in the future Cindy will be in the lobby and the other princesses will stop by the table. Starting on February 1st the prices will increase, pictures with Cindy will be taken and included in the cost of the meal. Dinner will also be going to a fixed price/ fixed menu meal. Cindy will not be in the lobby. Instead the Fairy Godmother will be in the lobby for the included pictures. It has never been made clear whether other characters (princesses) will come to the tables during dinner or not.

Yes they started the Character lunch last year. So both Breakfast and lunch are character meals. We really enjoyed our Breakfast in Sept. Here's wishing you luck to get your ADR's :flower:

Here is what the CM just told me in regards to Cindy meals after Feb 1, 2006:

There will be breakfast, or lunch.
Dinner is going to be added at some point as well, I am not clear as to whether dinner goes into effect on Feb 1 too, or later?
The price is fixed and includes a photo with Cindy.
The meal however, will be hosted by Fairy Godmother.

Which says to me that Cindy herself may not actually be at the tables? :confused3

That's all I know based, upon what the CM told me today...
