On the last Sunday in August DVC members were allow to take a tour of the Cinderella Suite in the Castle at the MK. We were lucky enough to get to take a tour. They ran 10 people through there about every 15 mins. I apologize for some of the shots upfront. I had my 18-200 lens and the suite was small with 10 people and two guides. While I had my flash, I felt very rushed to get shots, particularly with out people in them. The first pictures I will post were actually taken at the end. When the next group went upstairs, DW and I got to spend sometime with just us and a host. As you can imagine, it is very impressive.
Some info that we got from the host. The suite is owned by Disney Marketing. It is currently being used for the year of a million dreams. Selection is totally random. The selectors are given instructions to go to a particular ride or place and like the people in the pink teacup at 10:50 gets to spend the night. Totally random. Contest winners for outside groups buy the right to have someone stay there for the night. The reason we got a tour was that DVC was given a night and their decision was to let more members see the suite than one spend the night.
