I want to make reservations for a day we are already in Magic Kingdom, so I do not want to waste a day" getting ready" for Cinderella's table. Will my daughter feel out of place if she is not all dressed up? She will be in her usual shorts, tshirt?

Thanks

we have gone numerous times and never been dressed up. dont even think twice about it!!!

You may see younger aged girls dressing up to various levels, but the majority do not and the dress you referenced is common. Now if you want to dress up and want to take the hassle out of it you could consider:

Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique

Following the popularity of Downtown Disney's Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, a second salon has opened in Cinderella's Castle. This salon caters to children ages 3 and up (with no maximum age limit.)

Package Prices:

•COACH: Hair style and shimmering makeup - $53.20 (including tax)
•CROWN: Hair style, shimmering makeup and nails - $58.53 (including tax)
•CASTLE: Hair style, shimmering makeup and nails plus full Princess costume with accessories and photo package (one 6x8 and four 4x6 pix) - starts at $202.30 (including tax)
•THE KNIGHT PACKAGE: Hair styling, plus a sword and shield - $15.93 (including tax)
The hairstyle choices are Disney Diva, Fairytale Princess or Pop Princess. All packages include a sash.

For boys, the Knight Package includes hair styling and a sword and shield to make all boys into the mightiest of warriors.

**Secret Star Makeover (Hannah Montana) package only available at Downtown Disney location.

Photo Package: This optional add-on includes one 6" x 8" and four 4" x 6" photos in a princess-themed photo holder. Portraits can be taken at Castle Couture (a shop right outside the Castle) or at Exposition Hall on Main Street USA.

The Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique has 11 chairs and is open from 8:00 am till 7:00 pm. (Hours may vary should a special event be scheduled.)

Since the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is located in the Magic Kingdom, theme park admission is required.

Reservations can be made by calling 407-WDW-STYLE or by contacting your Dreams Unlimited Travel Specialist.

I've tried every way but upside down to book for 5/15 after my little one saw it. Can't get in so maybe it will have to be another time. :sad1:

Keep trying. Both the BBB and CRT require a credit card to book. If you don't cancel within 2 days of your reservation, then you will get charged. There may be some cancellations a week before your trip!

we brought her dress with us and I did her hair in morning we just freshened up at the car before we went.

My daughter was 9, almost 10, when we went 2 years ago and I did not even consider that she would want to dress up. She was a bit out of sorts at first when she saw all of the little one's in there finery-- but when she realized that virtually all of them were 7 or under, she seemed ok with it. (not that older girls don't do it-- but there were thankfully none there that night). If she were the same age as the dressed up girls, I think the disappointment would not have worn off quite so quickly!
And watch out for the hairdos-- they are very tight and I have heard of some girls losing patches of hair, especially if they leave it styled that way for awhile.:sad2:

I'm not sure if you mentioned how old your daughter is, but when we were there at Thanksgiving, my almost 7 year old would have been devastated had she not been dressed up. Every girl there was dressed up, and the princesses all made such a big deal of how beautiful she looked etc. If she ever had a silent thought about being too big for a princess dress, she sure loved it while at CRT and never had a second thought! Consider taking a princess dress in your backpack. We did a CRT lunch, following BBB, but I just brought dress and crown in our backpack. While I had to fold and mush, it was all worth it. We are headed back this summer and won't do BBB again so soon but will definitely bring the dress in the backpack again. (Theres always lockers at MK too). My suggestion would be that it's hugely dependent on child's age and personality to say if it matters or not. Just my opinion! :)

As a PP stated, it depends on your DD and her age.

My DD was 7 in Dec. She wore a blue and white knit dress that had Cinderella's picture in the center and a bunch of blue flowers on the sleeves and on the bottom of the dress. She also wore a small silver and blue tiara and just her plain white sneakers.

DD was happy to just have the Cinderella theme and the tiara. The bonus was that we could just take the tiara off after breakfast, and she was comfortable for the rest of the day without carrying extra clothes and changing. :goodvibes

When we went CRT last year, my girls did not dress up. There were many girls dressed up and many not.

I did bring their dresses when we went to Akershus. I had the dresses in my backpack. We changed while we were waiting for our table. I LOVE the picture that we got there with the girls dresses as Ariel and Snow White with Belle. It is my favorite picture of our trip.
