Cinderella's Royal Table

$198.00 for breakfast?!?!?!?! :scared1: OMG! I guess I am dating myself but we had dinner in the castle years ago when it was King Stefan's Banquet Hall. Still have pictures of DD who was little at the time and Cinderella. It was a grand experience but I would have a hard time justifying the expense. For that amount breakfast ought to come with a massage from Prince Charming!

Had a similar occurrence with DS15, while DD19 was all for it. Everyone enjoyed the food, and we did not feel at all rushed, though the servers are scurrying about at a fast pace. Then the topper was DS actually got up and posed with each princess for photos, which was a shock to all. So you never know how it will turn out. It is a rather expensive breakfast, but I guess the higher cost is partly due to the included photos they take. You get them before you leave.

Wish we were going the same time! I would totally take you up on that offer. :thumbsup2 We will be there the week of Thanksgiving. My ADR is the day after Thanksgiving.

We'll be there that day at 8:05!

DD7 and DNiece24 will be with us, so DH just has to grin and bear it (although DD really isn't denied too much when her daddy's around! ;)).

I'd say treat yourself and have a lovely breakfast at CRT alone. We were there in late August and since our party was relatively small - 2 adults and a child - we got a GREAT table right in front of the window overlooking Fantasyland and the carousel. The tables right up front were for four and if we had been a bigger party, we would have been away from the windows and in the back part.

My vote is to take your husband and let the boys do something else while you are in there.

Not sure if this helps but we did it in 2005. Wasn't as expensive as it is now but it didn't include pictures. There was an option of hot or cold breakfast. We chose the hot breakfast and it was honestly the worst meal we had the entire trip. But at CRT the food is secondary anyway. We had our reservation for right when it opened, so it was kind of neat walking down Main Street before MK opened and we were seated right away. But by the time we finished and we went back downstairs, the waiting area was insane and it was obvious that some of the waiting parties were getting a bit testy.

Our upcoming trip in May we are going to take the girls to Bibbity Bobbity Boutique at Downtown Disney followed by the character lunch at Akershus as an alternative to the hectic insanity at the BBB and CRT at the castle

We enjoy eating here more for the experience of being in the castle, as for the food and Princess interaction, we much more prefer Akershus. However, we do have dinner ADRs for our upcoming trip right before our MNSSHP. And the only reason we have that is because we are trying out DDP and had upgraded to DxDDP, and it was a good use of our credits.

We also upgraded to DxDDP and made a reservation at CRT - for dinner - because it would eat the credits.

However, DH really wanted to do CRT (breakfast) because he enjoyed it the one other time he's been.

I also feel that this is your vacation just as much as your son's and husband and that you should do something that YOU want to do. After all, you're the Mom - Mom's always end up sacrificing something to make the 'boys' happy... this time they should be making you happy.

My friend's husband is an executive with a company that has a cooperate membership. I went 10 years ago and it was spectacular. I hope it is as good as last time. My mom and dad are coming as well! I can not wait. It is an incredible experience! :cheer2: I feel bad that I am leaving DH and DS's at home, but they have school and work that day. :guilty:

I know someone else already volunteered to join you for your CRT breakfast, SO I would be MORE than happy to help you celebrate your birthday at Club 33! That is a DREAM of mine! I will dine there before I die!!!!
What a spectacular friend to offer that sort of experience to you for your birthday!

I love reading all of the comments. I too am very torn. At first I had a breakfast ressie and then found a lunch ressie open so I cancelled the breakfast. Now I hear such bad things about the food that I've made a ressie at Akershus for breakfast. I have not cancelled the CRT lunch yet though. I just don't want to use my 2 TS credits on bad food. I'm almost thinking about keeping both and telling my husband at the very last minute.heeheehee:eek:

I'd get an ADR before the park opened, go and enjoy myself (solo) and have the boys meet me when the park opened. That way, you're not missing anything and they aren't getting dragged. You also save $150. :rotfl:

Seriously, we did breakfast there two years ago, and while the meal wasn't incredible, I thought it was very good. Both kids found something they liked, and I honestly really enjoyed my breakfast.

Trip to WDW - $$
Breakfast - $150
Getting into the park before it was open for the day; seeing DD absolutely vibrating with excitement over going; eating in the Castle, something I never dreamed I'd be able to do - PRICELESS!

GO FOR IT!!! And eating alone - who cares?!? Honestly, if you asked me when we were there what kind of parties were around us, I'd have no idea. I was too busy watching DD enjoy herself. And in fact, I envy you the people-watching experience of going and getting to see the joy of the little princesses, what an incredibly enjoyable way to start a day!

We even got the center window overlooking fantasy land ! Best seat in the house, which we would not have gotten if DH had gone as it was a 2 seater table

We got this table back in January for dd's 7th birthday. You are right it was the best seat in the house! We even got to watch the fireworks from that window. It was absolute perfection. :cloud9:

We are going back in December but will have my niece with me as well so no chance of getting that table again. :sad1:
