Cinderella's Royal Table

I have a dinner reservation, but from what I am reading at dinner there isn't any characters? I am going with kids so we want that. Should I change till breakfast? When you make the reservations and not on the food plan do you get charged now? We were going to do a dinner package but changed it.

Welcome! :welcome:

For dinner, you'll see Cinderella in the lobby. You get your picture taken with her. During the meal, the Fairy Godmother and the two mice come up and do a little show, but you do not meet characters.

At breakfast and lunchn only, you meet Cinderella in the lobby, and then a selection of four princesses (which can include Alice, Mary Poppins, or the Fairy Godmother as well as the traditional princesses like Snow White, Jasmine, Belle, and Aurora) come to your table and pose for photos and sign autographs.

If you make reservations and are not using the DDP, you will be charged the full price of the meal at the time of your reservation.

Thank you. Wonder if I should reserve now as we are going in August, the week before the free food.

They take a credit card number to reserve the spot but they don't charge you unless you don't show up. You will not be charged otherwise.

This may be true if you are on the DDP - but if you are not on the DDP, they will take your CC# when you book the ADR and they will charge it right away.

Well, I would call ASAP. You may not get any other meal now. But it can't hurt to try. Good luck.

Is breakfast harder to get than lunch? We did lunch last year and I just wasn't all that impressed with it so we were thinking of trying breakfast but I don't want to waste a bunch of time on my call in day trying to find a time for breakfast and miss out on other things. Any advice?

Amazingly (I'm still in shock) I called today and got CRT breakfast at 8:00 on a non-EMH day at MK for our trip in July. We are well within the 90 days. I couldn't believe it. I so much couldn't believe it that I called back to make sure that I really had the reservation.

When I called the reservation agent told me they were only booking through June 12th on the day I called. So I politely said I guess I will just have to call back in a couple days, and hope I can get it. She said no you dont have to do that, and she booked the reservation for lunch on June 15 for me.

either I got lucky, or it is how you ask.

You can call up to 90 days out. We booked for August a few days ago.

We decided to keep the night reservation as we will be going to Chef Mickey's, 1900, and something else that I can't think of now, so they should get their fill of different characters.

We are there the week before free dining as well...I called on my 90 day mark and got CRT for breakfast on the day I wanted it. I'd call right away if I were you, especiallly since ADRS for free dining are being taken!

kingcrab, are you saying that you were able to book CRT before your 90 day mark?!

correct.

I called 3 days before the 90 day mark to pay off my balance, and decided to give it a try since I at that point had my reservation paid off.

I called the Disney Dining reservation line, and was told they were only taking reservations up to the Friday before the Monday I wanted. I nicely said, darn, I guess I will have to call back Monday, and see if I can get the reservation then. The CSR said I didnt have to do that, took my reservation, credit card info, and gave me the reservation # for lunch on the Monday we wanted.

Sounds like a certifiable "Magical Moment" to me!

worked for me, since it was at the time the only Disney restaurant I was going to eat at(my daugher loves princesses). Since then I added a dinner @ Sanaa to see the animals.

We're resort guests, so we could call 90 days out and the CM was surprised we got in the night I wanted. I was THRILLED because in all the times I've been to DW, I've never eaten at Cindy's! I sugguest calling as SOON as you can, it really does fill up quick! ;)
