Hi everyone can you help?

I am off to disneyworld in September and have booked a table at the CRT for DW, DD and DS. We have reserved a table for dinner at 19.10 on 29/9/08 and are now confused!! Do the princesses visit her at our table? It mentions the fairy godmother but no mention of princesses on the site, when we made the reservation the operator said it does not guarantee meet and greet!!!!!

I believe for dinner it is just the fairy godmother, and Cinderella is downstairs. For all the princesses at dinner, you can try Askerhaus (sp) in Norway.

Hi
The breakfast and lunch meals have Cinderella downstairs and then the princesses come around to your table. You don't get the princesses at the dinner meal. Cinderella is downstairs, and I think the Fairy Godmother is there and I'm not sure of other characters that might be there. Maybe someone else has experience with this and can answer your question. Have a great time!!

For dinner, Cinderella is in the lobby for pictures (the picture package). Fairy Godmother makes an appearance upstairs during dinner and does a little "show" - she asked about birthdays, anniversaries, etc. I remember b/c it was my parents 40th! Suzy and Perla were there, too and they moved around the room but not like they did when we went to 1900 Park Faire.

Just being in the castle was great, though. We have it booked again for Nov.

For dinner it is the Fairy Godmother who does a little singing. Anyone with birthdays gets a little birthday cake and anyone with an anniversary gets two champagne flutes and a "wishing star". Perla and Suzi (the mice from Cinderella) come flying by each table for a quick picture. Cinderella is downstairs to greet you and you get a picture with her that is given to you at your dinner table. It is more of a show than a meet and greet. I loved it.

We had dinner here last September. We arrived early and made sure that we told the lady checking us in that we had 2 b-days for DDs. They were given a sticker naming them Honorary Princesses. We then were greeted by Cinderella downstairs and took pictures with her. The girls were asked to lead the crowd up the stairs and we did get a window table overlooking Fantasy Land. THe Fairy Godmother does a little sing/greet act making her way to every single table for pictures. The two mice also come around and pose for pics. The food is good, not fantastic. I would recommend you experience it at least once. My girls enjoyed it very much and we would go back without DH, he is a chef and is a little more of a food critic than we are. Hope this helps, I would post pics BUT I was not able to figure it out.

Thanks for your help, but Im so disappointed now!!!!!
I think it should clearly state that the princesses do not visit your table!! Our daughter has been telling everyone she is going to have dinner at the castle and meet the princesses. It was so difficult to get a reservation in the first place and at nearly $170.00 for the four of us its not cheap!
Unfortunately we are not staying on site so it would be really difficult to make breakfast! I could try and swap the reservation for lunch but I doubt I will have any luck this late in the day.
We have met the other characters (Micky, goofy, pluto etc) at DLRP last year.
Any further suggestions/info would be appreciated. My daughter is 4 and my son is 2.

Thanks in advance everyone.

How odd. Each time I've called and asked about making a CRT reservation the dining person has emphasized that there are no characters at dinner, or that the princesses won't be there. Only once has a CM said (correctly) that Cinderella will be downstairs only and that some characters will briefly appear but won't come to the tables.

Are you saying that the dining person didn't say this? Or are you saying that the Disney website does not say it? (Edit: I just checked the Disney website and it does not say that the princesses come around for dinner.)

Regardless, I think that I'd be on the phone with Disney dining right now asking to switch the reservation. You may have to keep calling until your trip, maybe something will open up. In the mean time, I'd explain to the kids that you were mistaken.

For alternate suggestions, I'd try keeping the dinner reservation if you can't switch it and adding Akersus or 1900 Park Fare. That way she does get to have dinner at the castle and meet the princesses . . . just not at the same time. Also, don't forget that she will get to meet Cinderella at CRT before going in to dinner if that helps.

Your daughter will still see the princesses through out the parks. Belle usually does story time at Magic Kingdom. You can also find her at Epcot in the France area along w/the beast for picturre opportunity. Cinderella can usually be found at Magic Kingdom. Snow White is usually walking around in the world showcase at Epcot. She will see Cinderella prior to dinner at Royal Table..she will have picture opp as well as getting an autograph.

Cinderella is downstairs to take pictures and visit with everyone, then they take you upstairs where you have dinner and are entertained by the Fiary Godmother and 2 of the girl mice (Pearla and Mary??? a little fuzzy on their names). The show is really fun. Then they bring up pictures of your family with Cinderella and a print of the castle.

Exactly.

If you are going to switch, we really like 1900 Park Fare. Cinderella, Prince Charming, and the mice come around at this dinner and the Fairy Godmother is outside for meet & greet.

At Askerhush, the tables are REALLY close together, and even though you do get to see so many of the princesses, it's my least favorite Princess interaction.

Try Norway for breakfast or lunch-lots of princesses but not nec Cindy-maybe Cindy.
or 1900 Park Fare in Grand Floridian for dinner-Cindy will be there!

But even if you are off site you can still make the CRT breakfast or a very late lunch - our lunch ADR was at 2:45 pm and it was great not too crowded and all the princesses!
