Can anyone tell me what the Dreams Come True Dinner at Cinderella's Royal Table is like and what the glittering finale is?

Are the characters there or is that only breakfast and lunch?

I've always wanted to eat at the castle, but we couldn't get reservations last year.

This is for my husband and I, its our wedding anniversary when we are at Disney and we would like to do something special...if anyone can recommend anything else?

Many thanks!:sulley:

We did this in February right before the P&PP. Cinderella is in the lobby for pictures before you go to your table (your picture and a picture of the castle is included in the price of the meal). During the meal, the Fairy Godmother and the mice, Suzy & Perla, came out and they wandered around, sing songs, and acknowledge birthdays, anniversarys, etc. They don't go table to table. I can't for the life of me remember a "glittering finale". Hmmm. We enjoyed ourselves and the food was good.

Enjoy your anniversary at Disney!

Many thanks for that.

Does anyone else know about the "glittering finale"?

Thanks

if you don't already have ressies beware....i was strongly advised to call at day 180 plus 10 if I had on premise stay to be able to get in...i called at exactly 7 am their time and got 9 am....they were getting calls so fast for crt they were done(fully booked) by 7 15 when i tried to call to make a change!!! Cinderella is only for breakfast and lunch!

This is very true for breakfast and lunch. (I've never been able to get a reservation for breakfast or lunch!) Dinner reservations are hard to get, but not as hard since it isn't a typical Princess Meet and Greet and Cinderella is only in the lobby for photos. We were able to get reservations for dinner at 5:45pm on a night that the P&PP was being held about 25 days out.

If you can't get the breakfast or lunch ressie you want keep trying closer to the date. A lot of people cancel when it gets closer because of the prepayment penalty for a no show. I got my lunch ressie less than a week before going:cool1:

Lunch was soo awesome. We saw Cindy downstairs for pics then upstairs we saw Belle(blue dress), Aurora, Snow White and the Fairy GOdmother!! Snow White was the best, absolutely in character down to the voice!
Good Luck!:wizard:

To those of you that have gone to or know about the atmosphere for dinner, could you tell me what happens during/before the dinner?

I have a dinner scheduled and my son wnats to now do HDR, which we have seen so many times, it is his favorite and I enjoy it too, but have never eaten at the castle...I am so debating!!!
By the way how is the dinner food?

we prefer the lunch. to spend so much on breakfast is not for us since we don't eat much early. And the charc. choice in the evening doesn't apeal to us eaither. If your going for characters, the lunch has sooo many (princesses!!) and they come around so often.. our two daughters loved it. I tried for quite a while in advance last yr to get adr's for the castle and couldn't, then a month before our trip there was availability for almost every day for every meal. I asked how this happend and was given no answer, maybe they added more tables? All I can say is try, as the other poster mentioned, maybe people cancelled as the date got closer and they were finalizing plans and didn't want to get stuck with the charge if they didn't show.
have fun

ANYONE???

Before dinner, in the downstairs lobby, you wait in line and have your picture taken with Cinderella. You receive (I think) 1 free 4x6 & 4 wallets of your party and Cinderella and a 4x6 of the castle in a folder. If you have more than 4 people, you get two photo packages. There was 5 of us when we went and we got 2 packages and were able to get one of the 5 of us with Cinderella and one with my DD and Cinderella. You wait in the lobby to be called upstairs to your table. My DD got a plastic wand. We were seated and our waiter came over. Very cool, with the sirs and madams flying! And my DD was offically called "Princess" all evening. During dinner, the Fairy Godmother and mice (Perla & Suzy) come out and walk around. They DO NOT come table to table, but if you're lucky, they may stop and you can snap some quick pictures. They dance around and sing songs. They celebrate/acknowledge birthdays and anniversaries, etc.

We really had a great time when we went. Just the fact that you are eating in the castle was enough for me!

Hope that helps.

What exactly do you want to know? If I remember correctly the only characters at the dinner are the Fairy Godmother and the mice but I'll have to go back and check my trip photos and make sure.

The dinner is a lot more laid back and romantic for Adults compared to the breakfast that was entirely setup for children to enjoy. If this helps at all my wife loved it and still talks about it 6 months later.

Thank you both for the dinner info.
I think this works better for us as my son THE TEEN, was not thrilled about a character meal, so this would be just right for us. I get to FINALLY get a castle meal and he'll likely enjoy the meal as well!

Does anybody know how wheelchair users are seated? I noticed someone posted that you get called "upstairs" for the meal...wondering if there's an elevator or ramp...

What is the best way to get your birthday acknowlaged ?
I was thinking of getting the glass slipper with something wrote on....would this be enough?
Maybe wear a badge?

There is an elevator.
::yes::
Not a very big elevator, but it works.
The seating area upstairs has 2 levels; the lower level is about one step below where the elevator delivers you. So, when you make your reservation and when you check in make sure they know you have a wheelchair in your party.
Also, the only accessible restroom in on the ground floor.

We've had lunch in the castle and have ADR's for the night we are attending MNSSHP in October. Both times I had no trouble getting ressies, but it is difficult for the breakfast. The food is good, but what is really special is just being "inside" the castle.

Hi

Thanks for everyone's advice on the dinner....

I rang up today and managed to get reservations!!! 26th November - our 2nd Wedding Anniversary. I can' wait!

Many thanks:yay:

I had no idea reservations were that difficult to come by.. I just called an hour ago to make lunch reservations for July 19 - 52 days away - and there was availability. Granted, only one time slot left, but still, it wasn't booked. I REALLY hope Snow White is one of the princesses present! When would be a good time to call and ask which characters will be going around during the meal? Or do they not know until the day of? :confused3
