How is the breakfast food? Was the experience as good as you thought it would be? I have a ds 5 and dd 11. just not sure if it will live up to the hype. :confused3

It seems people either love it or hate it (experience wise) and I've read less than steller reviews of the food..ALL of the adults at my table thought the food was delicious, esp. the breakfast potatoes & the stuffed french toast!

I asked for more french toast & the server brought it no problem, and others at my table asked for more potatoes, again on problem, but we did have an EXCELLENT server too!!

The kids ate their food o.k. but were too excited to eat tthat much, (I had 4 younger girls with me; 3,5, 6 & 7) so they thought it was great..Most of the princesses were great and spent sufficient time at our table for my needs, however Cinderella did not, I felt she was rushed thru the place and my dd's were trying to talk to her and she just kind of smiled & shook her head and only said a few words..

All in all, would I go back? Maybe on the dining plan but I just read the prices INCREASED  dramatically from what I paid in October..and I don't think I would pay that now..

I would suggest trying it at least once just for the experience of eating in the castle, that in itself was worth the money at least 1x, IMO.

Good luck with your decision!

Thanks! We will be eating at CRT for breakfast in June. So far I've really only seen comments on lunch and dinner. I was a little worried about the price, but I guess as long as my little princess has a good time that's all that matters. But this will probrably be a one time thing!

We ate there in Jan, & I thought the food was good too. Cinderella did not come through the dining room anymore. She stayed in the lobby & while you waited to be seated you could take a picture with her. They also take a picture for you, but you do not have to buy it. I believe we paid $31 for the picture. My daughter thought it was neat to see all the princesses & we did get nice pictures.

We did both princess breakfasts at Disney. The Norway at Epcot and the Castle with Cinderella. The servers at the castle acted as if they were serving royals! It was quite thrilling going into the castle. THe princesses at both breakfasts were totally awesome in character. Mulan was tough talking and Snow White was so sweet. My DD 5 and DD 9 loved them. The food was good tasting but not exceptional. Our travel agent at Small World got us the reservation. Enjoy your trip princess:

$22.99 for kids breakfast and $32.99 for an adult breakfast, now, what breakfast food can be worth that?? Oh, the princesses, so priceless for the 15 seconds they spend at your table....priceless, NOT!! More like a big rip-off!!! I'm sorry but an adult breakfast there for $19.99 wasn't worth it!

That's when we stopped going...the food definitely not worth that...not even worth 1/2 that!! And the princesses may spend 30 seconds with you or if you're lucky 45 seconds. We've been to CRT's 4x and have never had a princess spend more than 45 seconds with us since it was just my shy dd. And, now more than $20 for breakfast, c'mon Disney let's have a little "fairness" here. I don't care how popular this meal is!

My DD(5) has been to CRT three times now. Twice with me, and once with her aunt. On each visit, the princesses spent quite a bit of time with her. They made small talk with her for about 2-3 minutes before signing her autograph book and taking a picture with her, and if I was afraid that she blinked they would take another one with her just to be sure we got a great picture. For our upcoming trip, we decided to try Akerhaus for breakfast. While on her trip with my sister, they went to both CRT and Akerhaus. My sister has been to CRT numerous times, and said that she really liked the atmosphere of Akerhaus better. That's why we are going there this time. I also think that the prices are a little high at CRT. However, to each their own. I think people make their own expierences good or bad depending on their attitude and how they perceive things.
