Cinderellas royal table-worth the money?

I'm torn between breakfast or dinner with my family, though leaning toward breakfast. Do they give out the wands/swords at every meal or just dinner?

It surely is the experience of the castle (for us anyway). On our last trip we did the breakfast AND the dinner AND we did Akerhaus breakfast too.

The dinner was better than I expected. It wasn't fabulous but it was pretty good and I expected it to be worse, lol. the breakfast is NOTHING special. I have to agree with those that said the interaction with the princesses in akerhaus was better. They danced with them and did a little parade. In the castle it is a meet and greet and they sign their books. I would surely do the castle again just for the experience of being in the castle. Worth it in my opinion.

YEs, the wands and swords were given at both meals.

Probably not. We went for lunch last time (on DxDP) and I really don't know how much it was per person. We are going again for lunch this time and it's $48.54 for an adult. If we were paying OOP, I would not do it, but again, we're on the DxDP. However, my FIL is going to be there and will not be on a dining plan. I'm going to suggest to DH that we pay for FIL's lunch since I think it's pretty outrageous. My FIL doesn't give two hoots about the princesses or the castle; he's going to be there b/c he wants to be with his 3 granddaughters. One of whom will be celebrating her 2nd birthday that day.

So, if you really need to see princesses and want to skip lines (like we do), or on a dining plan with more than enough credits, then I would do it, but not for $50 for lunch and $60 for dinner for an adult!

That's why I like the dining plan: I can be blind to the cost of things like character meal because otherwise, they are quite shocking!

We found the food was quite good, although the main reason we made the reservation was eating in the castle and the princess interactions. It's the best way to meet Ariel without a 45 minute wait (although an expensive alternative) For us it was worth the money for those things alone.
