Cinderella's Royal Table seating for 8

I was just wondering, I remember reading somewhere that Cinderellas Royal table would split your group if you had more than a certain amount of people,

We will have 7 plus one under 3,

So for 8 of us, would we need 2 tables or will they be able to seat us together?

We had a table for 6 (but only 5 people) when we were there in February. The table next to us had 8. When I made our ADR, I was told we would be split 3 and 2. However, when we checked in they said it was no problem for us to sit together. My guess is that when you make your ADR they will tell you the same, but it is possible they will sit you together.

thanks, I am going to make the reservation at exatly 180 (well 180 + 10)
so hopefully it will all work out, I hope they can seat us all together but I guess we could split us up if they seat us together.. I'll have to see when I call..

We were a party of 8 and they split us into two tables next to each other. You won't be able to tell when you call to make your ADR. They will simply take your reservation for 8. Whether you have a table for 8 or two tables for 4 will be determined only when you arrive at the restaurant and check in, based on table availability at the time.

We were a group of 11. I've just looked at the photo of us at CRT to see how we were seated. There were 6 of us on one table and 5 on the other. One side was a bench seat however with 3 and 3 along it so they were really next to each other and the other 5 were on separate chairs along the other side of the two tables. If that makes sense.
