Anyone have information/suggestions on Lunch or Dinner. I'm debating which one may be better. Are characters/princesses at both Lunch & Dinner?
I heard they give the children, wands and swords. Is this correct? Do they give this at both Lunch & Dinner?
TIA for all your help.

Info on dinner--you get a group picture with Cinderella before going upstairs to dine, but that's the only Princess experience with dinner. Waiters in castle footmen costume. Mouse maids from Cinderella movie (Susie & Perla) come out for hugs & pictures for about 10 min., going from table to table; then Cinderella's Fairy Godmother comes out & does a little song about "Celebrations", acknowledging everyone having a birthday, anniversary, wedding, etc. She does not go around to tables and does not stop for pictures, just does her little speech & song, then leaves. Nice little show, but it is not the usual character bit coming around to all the tables.

I did not see any kids getting wands &/or swords at dinner, but we didn't have any children with us so they may have given them out & we just didn't notice them. But there were kids all around us, I think we would have noticed if they had extra things like that. Could be the wand/sword deal is a lunch/breakfast only. There were a number of little princesses in their outfits/hairstyles & crowns from BBB.

thanks CATNE, for the info.
Did u use the DDP? We are and i was wondering if you still get photos included with DDP

we did not use the DDP on the Cinderella Royal Table meal...when we were getting the ADR's, we had 2 TS per person left to book...the CM asked if we were wanting to do any other 2 TS restaurants. When I said yes, we also wanted the California Grille she recommended we pay OOP for CRT (because cash price is less than $50 per person) and use the 2 TS to do Cali Grille (because many of the entree/drink/dessert choices at Cali Grille would add up to more than $50.00.) So since OOP would be cheaper at the castle, we took her advice. (When we did Cali Grille, it really did work out that cash price would have been just over $50 a person, so her advice was correct.)

My understanding is that you get the photo package no matter which way you pay for it. It's a nice keepsake photo folder, one 8x10 of the castle, and the other 8x10 is your group w/Cinderella. There's also three 4x6 copies of the group photo (which is nice if you have several people in your group so each person can have a copy.)

If you have kids in your party, breakfast or lunch might be a better bet if the kids will be looking for a lot of character interaction. If it's older kids or adults in your party, dinner is less noisy, more relaxed (and the food is a bit better for the cost.)

You get the swords/wands at lunch. We ate there last year for lunch, it was great!:goodvibes

I would think one would for breakfast also.
