I was just able to make an ADR for February 27th at Cinderella's Royal table for an early lunch. There were also a few breakfast spots open. Is it not as popular as it used to be or is it because of Fantasyland renovations?

I do not know about breakfast, but I canceled my reservations for dinner. They have made so many changes I just can not see it being worth 2 TS credits anymore.

As stated above, people don't see it as being worth two table service credits. I agree with them, so even when using the dining plan I pay for CRT OOP. We're going to be there for breakfast in November and there is no way I would waste 8TS credits for a breakfast! I'd rather pay the $130 or so :scared1: because it's worth more that way in the long run. This is the last time my girls will be doing this, though! Each has had her special 3-year-old breakfast in the castle after this trip and then NO MORE!!!

I just posted the new CRT dinner menu in another thread. While the food is still very good and you are in the Castle, I think that the disappointed when you get there and the menu's have all changed and Disney not posting the new menus has caused some problems. And while you were able to get a reservation, I can tell you if definetely is not hurting for customers. It was packed the night we were there.

We have lunch ADRs for 12/1 for DD's birthday - I'm sticking with them for now because I know she'd love to eat in the castle again but I'm struggling with that decision a bit...

I think once me and my DH have children we will def go just for the experience, but right now just be us two, it is just not worth going for us. I would rather eat somewhere with better food now, and then enjoy the ambiance of the castle when I have my children.

We (me 43, DH 41 and DS9) booked a late lunch at CRT for our 10/27 day at MK. I was so excited to "score" a ressie after all I had heard about the experience I even got up at 4am on the 180+ 10 day . After many rounds of hopin' and prayin' that the menu would change to something we found interesting (or edible ;)for lunch. We ended up cancelling this past Saturday because the menu (Lunch) just seemed so so. The cost was somewhat a factor but 98% was because of the menu selections. DS9 does not eat much and DH and I did not care for the Entrees.... bummer because I was the one wanting to go.

We settled on Libery Tree Tavern that day instead. Hope it is good!

I just booked Akershus and will be canceling our 8:05am ADR for CRT shortly, once I confirm that my in-laws won't mind the change. I am sure DD would want to eat in the castle again, but it is my belief that she'll be happy to get her princess fix no matter where it occurs. When you can do Akershus AND 1900PF for the same cost as CRT, AND the menu choices have been severely limited (based on what my family would have liked to eat) I think it's time to reevaluate. I also can't see the little wands and swords being that much of a draw...and I think I heard they weren't the logo ones any more, although I might be mistaken. Anyways, CRT gets the axe from my family. :confused3

Oh, and BTW, there are still 8:10 am and 8:20 am ressies for nearly every day of our vacation (about 90 days away) still available. We can't be the only ones feeling like this, KWIM?

With the new menu I know I am thinking about canceling our ADR in Dec. $250 is a bit steep for the new offerings. Unfortunatly its my DD's choice, all the kids got to pick one special restaurant, and she has her heart set on it. So we will do our one time at the Castle and be done with it.

I have lunch ADRs as well and I am only doing it because my DDs want to eat in the castle. I expect that we will do CRT one more time, when my youngest is older, and that'll be it. I am not excited at all with the menu. We'd do breakfast, but it's definitely not worth it for us - the girls and I won't eat pork sausage, my youngest won't eat eggs, I think that we just won't eat that much. Whereas I think lunch will be eaten. I really wish it wasn't 2 TS credits though. Or quite so expensive. Captive audience, I guess, as everyone with little girls wants to eat in the castle.

My wife and I were there last year along with DD4 and DD9. We thought it was the best food we have had in WDW in a while. We did like the Artist Point and California Grill better, but we were there 5-6 years ago.
