How is it?? I know it is not the princess fest that breakfast and lunch are, so that's the only time we'd consider it.

We are two adults that have been umpteen million times and are just wanting to try different restaurants. I have not eaten there in over 10 years and DH has never eaten there.

The menu looks decent, but do they do a decent to good job with the menu.

Also, are there still lots of "little princesses" there at dinner??

We have been twice for dinner and twice for breakfast. Lots of princesses at both but more at breakfast. The dinner food is definitely better than the breakfast. I really liked the bread our first trip but this time in February it was just mini french rolls and the iffy WDW butter. I had the spring roll both times for starter and it was really nice. Had the steak and the lamb for main course and both were lovely. Had the creme brulee this time for dessert and it was ok but not as good as the buckle I had last trip.

Not too much noise at dinner in my opinion. Downstairs you still meet Cinderella for the photo but upstairs the mice and Fairy Godmother come out and do a little show once an hour which is cute but not invasive. They don't come around for autographs or anything.

I would say at breakfast 90% of people have children with them and at dinner about 60-70%.

I personally would still go to dinner as two adults but not to breakfast.

Here are a couple of pictures. I forgot to take a picture of my appetizer which was the corn and crab soup. Slightly spicy but delicious.

There were many children there the night we were there. Remember they do a Fairy Godmother show every hour or so where the mice come out to greet the children then the Fairy Godmother does a little song and dancy thing. Overall the children were well behaved when we were there except one screaming baby.

Hope this helps some. :)

We were there last Aug for dinner with DD 13 & DS 15. We enjoyed the meal. There were some younger children, but many tables of just adults. It wasn't too noisy...someone was getting engaged...it was a nice time. :goodvibes

CRT is a family tradition....I don't remember ever NOT going there...and the last many times it has been for Dinner....usually around 4pm.

I LOVE the food. I think it would be a great place for 2 adults...Love how the cast members stay in character.

You are also paying for a very nice 8x10 photo with Cinderella....I've tried to remember that...and not get too park-weary....after one photo with "Rain-Hair".....

I always get the Prime Rib - and LOVE that....Everyone was happy with their meal last trip. Strangely enough - DD1 (15 at the time) who is SO SO PICKY....absolutely LOVED the Lavendar chicken....enough to where she was looking up the recipe once we returned home.

I do love the Spring Roll and Crab and Corn Soup. As I recall - with the appetizers and desserts....our family of 5 ordered a selection and passed around for everyone to try ....so I've tried most of those....

chocolate minnie - you're talking about the pretzel bread? We loved that! too bad it changed...

I've never noticed many more kids than average in most of your city's nice restaurants...possibly due to the price.

I just love the whole experience.....eating in the Castle is very special...if you are not a fanatic about it like I am ....you should at least just try it once.

Have a great trip!

I haven't tried dinner yet, but I just wanted to comment that when we had lunch there last trip, the waitress was really getting on my nerves calling ME princess about 5 times every time she came to the table. DD likes it when they call HER that, but it was strange for me. I think I would prefer something more dignified, perhaps "m'lady". :rotfl: Some chick WAY younger than me calling me princess every 5 seconds kinda weirded me out.

Sorry, had to get that off my chest!

We ate there last week for the first time, party of two adults on an 25th anniversary trip.
There were TONS of little princesses in attendance in their Bibbity Bobbity boo finery. Very cute.
We were given the best table in the place, next to a window overlooking the carousel area.
The prime rib was one of the better meals we had in the parks. Would go with that again.
Cinderella was sweetheart when we got our photos taken!
It was VERY rushed though and that really bothered my husband for the price we paid. The waitress was clearly irritated that he did not know what he wanted to eat and drink the minute he sat down. So look at the menu ahead and be ready! HOld onto your plate with one hand until your done!
I'm glad we did it just to see what all the fuss was about, but next time, I'd take my money to Texas DeBrazil for a good steak and leisurely meal for the same price range.

I really like the old CRT when they had a choice of 3 different size Prime Rib. I also thought the food used to be better.
