Cinderella's Royal Table First Day Question

I booked all my dining back in in March but then I changed my dates of the stay by one day to get the dining plan. I have a reservation for 9/2 at 6:40pm but now my flight arrives at 5:05pm.
Will we (family of 6) have enough time to get to supper for our reservation? I want to check with everyone here before I cancel.

I honestly don't think that's possible especially if you're taking Magical Express.

Also if your flight gets delayed. Ughh. I know it is a hard reservation to give up. Maybe see abt going standby on earlier flight and taking a car service/taxi.

I would cancel. That is way too tight and if your flight is delayed at all, you'd miss it. Even if everything goes perfectly, that's just not enough time to get there.

For a prepaid meal the risks are just too high you will not make it and it is a lot of money to be out

As a rule of thumb, I never book anything for arrival day that requires prepayment or a fee. Too many variables in travel can disrupt arrival

What's your plan B? Something more casual?

You probably won't have enough time...BUT, I have a suggestion. If you can't get back in at Cinderella's Royal Table, see if you can book a princess meal at Akershus in Norway. During our previous trip in June, we were able to experience both character meals, and I must say, we were INCREDIBLY impressed with Akershus. The food was better than at Cinderella's, and we had MORE princesses at Akershus as well. Snow White, Belle, Cinderella, Aurora, and Ariel. They even had a little parade in the restaurant with the kids (like at Donald's Safari Breakfast). I really feel like Akershus was a great alternative to Cinderella's, and it was only 1 dining credit as opposed to 2 at Cinderella's. I realize you're paying for location at Cinderella's, but I feel the Akershus was a much better overall value. Just my 2 cents.

We couldn't book cinderella's royal palace last time, but have it for this time. I'm already having panic attacks about missing it

I second the Akershus though as a back up plan. Your daughter will probably not realize the difference, and it's loaded with all the princesses. The food was good as well.

In March 2012, we landed at 11 and had 240 reservations. Granted we went to the hotel first, online checked in and took the monorail, we were late...but they still let us in. Can u get an earlier flight or go straight to the MK from the airport via taxi?
