Hello all. I am new to this, but was hoping the seasoned disney vetrans might anwser a question for me. I have our first Disney trip booked for Feb, the 10-14th. It will be myself, DH, and our 4 DD's. Anyway, to my quesyion,

Is the Fairy Godmother the only character present at the dinner? I was told our dinner included photos, but I don't think my girls will be happy with only the fairy godmother in them. Does anyone have any input for me? Thanks!!:goodvibes

For Dinner you get The Fairy Godmother, and two of the mice. They dance around and sing a song.

For princesses, you need to get breakfast. Good Luck!

We had breakfast here. Fairy Godmother met the guests downstairs in the wait area. Upstairs during our meal about 4 or 5 princesses came to our table one at a time. I think even Prince charming as well. It is a nice opportunity to go up inside the castle.

Breakfast reservations are very hard to come by. You may have better luck with the Princess breakfast at Restaurant Akershus at the Norway pavillion in EPCOT.

I went with my family in 2005 for Thanksgiving. On the night before Turkey Day we dined @ Cinderellas Royal Table. I didn't see any characters during dinner but Cinderella was in the lobby taking pictures with guests waiting to be seated. My food was brought out 1/2hr after the rest of my family was served, and when it finally came it was the wrong meal! Even worse, when I tried to tell the waiter that the meat is NOT what I had ordered, he DISAGREED WITH ME! I know I didn't order meat because I am a vegetarian! By the time the right dish came out my family had finished eating. The restaurant comped my meal but it gets worse...I got food poisoning and couldn't eat at the Yachtsman Steakhouse for Thanksgiving!!! I will NEVER go back there!

Thanks for all the info. I did try to get breakfast reservations, but only lunch and dinner were left. If they get to have pics with Cinderella in the lobby, I think they will be alright with the Fairy Godmother at dinner. 17 days and counting!! We can't wait.

Yes, not a surprise you couldn't get breakfast reservations. They are almost impossible to get.
Cinderella does get a picture taken with you in the lobby, as posted above. You will get the pictures while you are eating. It is nice.
Though we didn't love the food, it is amazing to say you got to eat in "the castle'!!

We were at a middle table, but we did walk over to the windows and look down on Main Street USA which was cool! (the backside, not the front)

Have fun!

We had a fabulous time having Dinner at CRT back in September! Before dinner, we had our photos taken in the lobby with Cinderella as part of the photo package (1) 8 x 10 and 4 smaller photos and also received a photo of the castle and a limited edition lithograph that was exclusively for people who had Dinner there. During the dinner, The Fairy Godmother and two mice came out and did a little skit. Also stopped quickly to take pictures with us. It was a wonderful, wonderful adventure! :upsidedow

My family and I have done breakfast with Cindy many times, and the times we've been there have been several Princesses, and several princes. It is so much fun, my boyfriend and I are going in March when we go with our families to dinner there, and looking forward to it. We hope it will be very romantic, and a nice way to start our disney trip, with special memories. i did have a question though, on disney .com it describes CRT as being a la carte, but everywhere else I've seen it was one price, and you have so many different items to chose from, can anyone clerify these details?

Hello. I just booked it two days ago. The 11th was available for lunch as well. Although, I will tell you I called in the morning and nothing was avialable, but called again that evening and both were. I was not able to get Le Cellier until yesterday. It was booked solid, but I kept calling and booked the 13th at 4:15yes, it is early, but I am dying to try it.

We will be doing a meal at CRT too. (Dec '07) I've never eatten there and to be honest this meal is totally for me. My DH and DS could care less about Cinderella's castle.

We aren't big breakfast people so we are doing dinner. How has dinner been for you guys that have experienced it?

Like I posted above, eating in 'the castle' is just so cool. Everyone should try to do it once!
That being said, I am sure glad it was on the free dining plan. Our food was not very good.
DD11 had the Tortellini, and she said it was rubbery. I tasted her sauce, it tasted like tomato soup from a can. She did enjoy her sherbet dessert.
DS8 had the mini hot dogs. He only ate one bite. He said they tasted greasy. They looked deep-fried, very scrunched up looking! Though he did like his tator tots! He had the sundae, complete with a chocolate crown that he loved.
DH and I had the prime rib. It was okay. It came with a very small serving of potatoes, and veggies. We had the chocolate raspberry cake, it was okay, though very sweet and rich. I loved the cookie on it though!!!
Appetizers for kids were carrots, celery, and cheesestrings. I got the kids appetizer, because nothing on the adult list appealed to me! DH had a BLT salad, he thought it was okay.
The rest of our party had the Chicken, Lamb and Salmon and enjoyed theirs.

I am just glad it didn't cost us the $165.00 it would have if we weren't on free dining!

It all depends on your taste!

Have fun!

Our family ate dinner there on Dec 23. The DDs enjoyed it so much that they insisted they wanted to go back in July. The prime rib was the best that I have ever had. My oldest DD says the salmon was fantastic. I had a great soup & she had the most wonderful spring rolls. I do admit that the children's menu for my youngest DD was not the greatest. We are thinking about ordering the adult for her even though she is 9.
Cinderella is downstairs for the pictures & they bring them to your table. They are really nice. If you later order the photo pass CD, don't forget to remind them to look for those to add to your CD. They no longer have the lithograph. They give the children swords or royal scepter.
Fair Godmother & Mice do a brief show in the middle of the dining room & recognize birthdays & anniversaries. They don't do autographs but will stop for a quick photo.

Cinderella, Prince Charming, & the Mice are at 1900 Park Place for dinner at the GF which is also nice. It is a really good buffet. My DDs prefer eating in the castle but really like the buffet.

Yeah..I think I'm in it more for the castle atmosphere than the characters. I think we will try dinner. HOpefully it will be good.

We ate there during THanksgiving week for late lunch/dinner 4pm. Anyway, they got a picture taken with Cinderella, were given the scepters and almost all the princesses came to our table, took pictures and signed autograph books. So, im very confused about all the above statements
The food....did not care for it at all.

Maybe it changes from season to season?? Maybe value seasons don't get all the good stuff!!:)
