Cinderellas Royal Table Dinner and fireworks

I have a dinner at Cinderellas Royal Table at 7:05 and I think the fireworks are now at 9pm? What time will this dinner be done? Will there be enough time to leave the park before fireworks start? The last time my baby saw them from Poly beach they scared her. It’s been a while since I had a meal there so I can’t remember how long it lasted and I think probably took longer when characters came around. Is an 1-1.5 hours reasonable? If it’s almost 9 when we do finish can we stay inside until the fireworks end?

Is it possible to see the fireworks from the windows of the Dining area - is it worth a request? There's just 2 of us so is it even possible to request a window table? One of the worse parts about a table for 2 are the places restaurants 'tuck' the 2-tops.

You're going to have a hard time getting out through the mass of humanity, especially with a stroller.
Ya I was worried about that. Would it be a better plan to just stay in the restaurant until fireworks are over?

You can have a table with just two. I was next to a window the first time I went there. The windows look out the back of the castle and I haven’t been during fireworks so I’m not sure if you’ll see them or not but it will be slightly obstructed I’d assume

Another question. I booked this and canceled the one I had for lunch. Since it’s prepaid I’m assuming I’ll get refunded the money in a few days for the one I canceled?

Actually, if you finish dinner close to 9:00, you won't be allowed to leave the castle for safety reasons until the first burst of fireworks is over. A baby scared while watching from the Poly beach will be screaming in seconds. They are LOUD from inside the castle.

One year, I wasn't feeling well, bailed on dinner at the first course and had to stand near the host desk for a half hour until told by security it was okay to go. I pleaded with them that I was ill and would dash to get out of the area but nothing doing. They are extremely strict for good reason--possible falling hot debris.

Either eat fast, which risks missing some of the fun things done, or try to rebook would be my advice.

Ugh. Do you think eating in an hour would be doable? We’d be out by 8 then and have an hour before fireworks. What fun things do they do at dinner? I know characters aren’t meeting there except Cinderella before the meal. Do they do other things?

Just noticed the fireworks will actually be at 9:20 so we will have a little more of a cushion

There are a few unknowns that you have. You don’t know when your table will be ready and you don’t know how long the Cinderella meet will take before you even go to the table. I think it’s reasonable to assume you will sit down around 7:30.

Assuming that’s when you sit down, it doesn’t seem likely that you will finish your meal with enough time to exit the castle before they close the egress. I’d just plan to eat at your normal pace and expect to wait out the fireworks where Cinderella greets you.

So much of this hinges on when you’re seated. We’ve had CRT meals where this happened pretty quickly a 7pm dinner that stands out where we waited 45 minutes to be seated. In that case, we made it out right around 9. Fireworks were later so we were allowed to go.

I haven’t been right by the castle for fireworks since the days of Wishes. Actually, we were on the bridge at BOG. It felt like we were in a war zone.

It’s no substitute for the loud booms in person, but it may help to periodically expose her to YouTube recordings of the show. She may be too young to fully understand, but showing positive responses to the booms on the video could help for the live show.

In this thread, https://www.disboards.com/threads/cinderellas-royal-table-during-fireworks.3741116/#post-60410485, I have pictures from a 2 top during fireworks from inside CRT. It was neat, but you do not see much of the fireworks. I wouldn’t do this just for fireworks, we just happen to have ADRs at that time.

Yeah, don't expect to see anything of the fireworks because they're going off directly above the castle.

If you are finishing dinner at Crystal Palace when fireworks start, you'd probably have a fairly good view with all those windows.

It's going to be pretty loud anywhere in Fantasyland during fireworks.

An hour isn't practical there as others mentioned. It can indeed take 30-45 minutes to be called to be seated. Then, the meeting Cindy can take 15-20 minutes' wait. Anybody's guess how quickly you'll actually be seated. The food comes pretty steadily, though.

There is the Wish On a Star bit where everyone gets a light blue plastic star labeled "Wishing Star." Everybody's encouraged to hold it and make a wish. I'm betting most wish they could stay longer or come back soon. 😄 That obviously doesn't take long. Then, kids are given a plastic magic wand or sword for another little ceremony. Also, doesn't take long.

We generally figure a good 90 minutes for CRT dinner.

I’m working on loud noises with her. We have a lot of work happening around our house that’s helping with that. Also showing her videos of fireworks so it’s not a surprise. With fireworks actually at 9:20 gives us a little more wiggle room. Is it normal there’s no modify button for this restaurant? Was thinking of trying for an earlier time but it’s not there. I’m guessing because it’s prepaid?

Thank you for the link. That view of the fireworks would be perfect for us. Here's hoping we are successful in our request. I was just so surprised to even get availability as I've trying since the princess-less price was introduced. LOL
