Hey all! Traveling to Disney in January and for our MK day we really want to do a late breakfast. We found a reservation available for Cinderella's Royal Table and booked it, but I am wondering if we should keep it or do a monorail resort breakfast instead. We have eaten here before and looooved it but it was literally in 2010 and was for dinner! We are now a family with 2 teens and 2 adults, so the lack of characters being back is not a huge problem for us. But, I am wondering if the food/atmosphere/experience is worth the $45 price tag? Would love some input!

For me, it would come down to how you want to use your time. If you will already be in MK and plan to spend the day there, I probably wouldn't leave to go to a MK resort for breakfast. If you don't mind going back and forth or want to start at the resort and then go to MK, I would probably pick a MK resort instead. We like GF Cafe and Whispering Canyon, but all of the MK resorts have good breakfast options, IMHO.

Thanks for the info! Whispering Canyon is on our bucket list for sure! And we love GF cafe, I always feel like they have such great service there.

We nearly always book CRT breakfast but with the earliest ADR we can get.

It's so much calmer and rarely crowded at all first thing in the morning.

Food is quite good, we both think, with some creative touches. We also have had good service.

Ohhhh ok we do love a calmer vibe, thanks for that! We originally opted for later in order to rope drop a couple rides before the waits got crazy, but we are planning to use genie+, so I'll be on the lookout for earlier times. :)
