I booked a res for this for myself, husband and 2 girls ages 3 and 4. I am just wondering for those who have done it- whats it like? I was surprised when I had to pay up front (I booked it in July) as I have done the Chef Mickeys breakfast and we did not prepay that. Any info would be great, my girls are super excited- Im just not sure what to expect.
Also does anyone know if you get the photo with the breakfast or is it just dinner?

I have not been yet. We are taking our DD in December for her b-day and it sounds great! I am sure that your little DD's will love it. Check out allears.net Deb has some great info about CRT on there including the menu. Have fun!!

It's a lovely restaurant, I mean afterall, it is "The Castle." After entering the restaurant you stand in line for a photo op with Cindy. Unless they have changed it since last year, the photo line/area is very chaotic. But if you want a picture with Cindy, it's worth the wait. After photos you're escorted upstairs to the restaurant. The restaurant itself is very pretty - we happened to have a table by the window so we had a lovely view of the Kingdom. I was not impressed with the food, but the character interaction was great.

If I had to choose one of their meals, it would be breakfast, the earlier the better for great Castle photos!

It's been pre-paid (or 2 TS credits on the dining plan) for about 2 years now due to it's popularity.

Also, the price is going up November 11 and it will also have special holiday pricing in effect November 18-24 and December 16 thru Jan 5. :sad2:

CRT is one of our favorite breakfasts. The food is great and we had a really great character interaction. Even my DS is looking forward to going again.

We did it several times in the past before they added the photo package and enjoyed it. My favorite breakfast, especially the cream cheese filled french toast.

I was able to get a reservation at CRT after I checked in through the concierge at the Swan.. The restaurant reminds me of Old World European with dark wood and stained glass. Basically, the food is just OK and all you can eat. I think they do that so as not to waste it since most of the diners are little girls. You can get more eggs, bacon, french toast... if your party wants it. Just like at Chef Mickey's, the characters rotate around the room and visit each table. You can get autographs and pics with each princess or Mary Poppins. I thought it was great for my daughters who were 19 and 5 at the time to have a photo taken with characters they BOTH loved! Oh, and Fairy Godmother was in the lobby for autographs and pics when we were there. Expensive but worth it once in a lifetime!!! princess:

oh good! can i ask which princesses are usually there? also- is the photo included in the price? i think we paid around $130 for 4 of us....some im hoping it is!!!!! i cant get over the price. yikes! definitely a once in a lifetime breakfast for us. :)

We didn't get the picture package. I took pics of my daughters with the princesses when they came to the table. If memory serves me (without looking inthe album), Snow White, Belle, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella and Mary Poppins visited our table. We had a wonderful experience. All the princesses did a great job in character You'll love it!princess:

It can vary but usually Cinderella is downstairs for the photo package and yes, the photo package is now included in the meal (thus the rise in the price of the meal), and then circulating can be Sleeping Beauty, Belle, Snow White and Mary Poppins. I've also seen Fairy Godmother, Prince Charming, Alice, Wendy and Jasmine. It varies.

yes, the photo is included in the price. You get your picture with Cinderella downstairs...and then during the breakfast we saw Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, and the Fairy Godmother. I think there was a 4th princess there who did not come over to our table....

this was not my favorite meal...but I won't bum you out with my review!

Your CRT package includes photos which largely explains the price that you had to prepay.
