Which is better, if we are taking a 3-year-old there? Price are almost the same.

We will be on Dining Plan - but wondering if this is possible. DH and I will pay OOP (Cash), while my 3-year-old will use his Dining Plan credits (2 TS).

Reason being - starting 2007 (according to DP FAQ), child credits can no longer share with adults. We will have dinner at Narcoossee's (2 TS), but do not want to use 2TS for my child's Mac and Cheese (if Disney is going to standardize on Kid's Menu) - rather pay Kid's menu OOP.

In this case, my child will have 2 extra TS, and plan to use it in Cinderella's Royal Table.

We did the lunch with DD5 and it was a nice break in the day. If you do breakfast, it might make you have to stand in line for a lot of rides your child will want to be on (Dumbo, Peter Pan, etc.) if you can't be there at opening. So, I guess if you ate really early like 7:30-8:00 it wouldn't affect this, but a later breakfast would. Of course, if you're doing more than one day in MK, it won't matter. I will say that we thought the lunch was delicious, and you get dessert!!!!! :teeth:

We did lunch in Cindys castle and everyone of us hated it.The choices were alittle strange. My youngest daughter was able to order chicken fingers but the rest of us weren't even sure what we had ordered and didn't really eat much of what we got.The desserts were great however I will say that.IMO you'd be better off with the breakfast dinning. There isn't too many strange dishes at breakfast just the normal.egg,bacon,pancakes.My though would be if we were to ever to return ,we would have to go with the breakfast. Its the safer bet.
Good luck and I hope you enjoy whatever you decided. :goodvibes

Go to www.allearsnet.com/menu and you can look at menus from all table service and counter service restaurants. This way you can make an informed decision of what you and your child will/won't eat. I love that website--it really helped me decide where we wanted to eat! In all honesty, once your child sees the princesses come out and the festivities begin, the eating goes out the window. Our DD will normally eat circles around most kids (wish I could do that and stay so thin!) and once she saw Snow White, the food just sat there! :rotfl: Even the ice cream only got minimal attention!

We did breakfast and it was wonderful. DD barely ate at any of the character meals but it was so worth it.

We were on the DDP but asked to pay OOP once we got there and it was no problem. I did not split it though, I paid OOP for both of us.

We did the lunch and loved it! The appetizer, entrees, and dessert were great! I can be a picky eater, but I had no trouble finding something to eat. :thumbsup2

We have done both lunch and breakfast and enjoyed breakfast more. The earlier ADR are the best. We spent alot of time on this, a line to wait to get in, a line for Cinderella and then a wait to get to the upstairs.

Hope you enjoy it no matter which you choose. For the little ones, its an experience that shouldn't be missed.
