I booked CRT for my daughter's first birthday. She likes Cinderella and it looked like a nice place to get cute pictures of her. Since she's under 3, I take it she has to eat off my plate? Can we order something off the kids menu for her or is that not allowed since we have to prepay?

You would have to pay for a meal if you wanted to order one for her.

You can bring in a meal for her (like a baby food pouch or some snacks) and then share any of your food that she might like to try.

I figured I'd have to pay - I just wasn't sure if they'd let me do it there? Is it all you care to eat?

If you're eating breakfast, then yes, it's all you can eat. In which case, no need to pay for anything extra.
There have been a few reports of getting seconds at other meals, but they sound like special cases, rather than something you could count on.

I was there a couple of months ago. I wouldn't bother with anything from the kids menu as it is chicken or beef for some unreasonable price. The adult food was not great and that place is a mill for photos ops. I say BYO for your child and get out as quickly as possible (I got that vibe from the wait staff, too, so I'm simply supporting their mission, here).

You can see the menu on the Disney website (I'd post a link but I'm not authorized, apparently). I was there for dinner.

We are going for lunch. I wanted characters at the MK and I'm not a fan of Crystal Palace.

When we went there was plenty enough food to share. I wouldn't order anything extra due to the high prices. We had a great breakfast experience there. I hope you have a great time!

We ordered my dd a chocolate slipper. She was 8 and they wrote on the plate Princess insert name First Trip. You could have your dd's name on there with first birthday. Even if she didn't eat it it is a great photo op. Our server made a huge deal about it being ordered by Cinderella herself. It has strawberries and a little piece of cake.

We did lunch at CRT in February. My daughter was still 2. They actually brought her a plate of chicken nuggets, fruit, and mac and cheese- for free. I didn't even ask, they just brought it. Our CM said they always do that for the kids under 3. For breakfast she can just eat off of your plate because it's all you can eat.

You can bring food for her at every restaurant at WDW. They do not care. I did it at every single restaurant at which we ate. I brought a full sandwich, fruit, the works.

And don't listen to the negative reviews about CRT- it all depends on what you order. My husband ordered fish and it was delicious. My pork chop- just ok. Is the food gourmet? No. But the princess experience was lovely, and my daughter loved eating in the castle. Every time she sees Cinderella castle at the beginning of her Disney movies, she exclaims "There's Cinderella castle! We ate lunch there!"

I'm glad to hear this! I was wondering if I made a mistake booking it. We are also going for lunch.

They do not make you pay for a child under 3. They brought my son a child's dish for breakfast free of charge and he was able to eat the pastries and any of ours.

It'll be great- she won't get as into it as a two, three, or four year old- but you'll love it! I'd make my husband take me before kids. She'll be entranced by the princesses and you'll get GREAT pictures!

We've been for supper twice. First time, DD1 was 2. They brought her a plate of buttered noodles. Second time, DD2 was 1. They brought her a full chicken nugget meal, but she had to share her brother/sister's app & dessert. Neither time did we have to pay for it.

they did the same for my 2 year old niece at lunch last October. My sister planned on having the 2 year old eat off everyone else's plate but the server offer a free lunch for my niece;offered anything on the kids menu and said she would bring a smaller sized meal. She chose chicken nuggets.

I had the ribs and they were pretty good.

Last time we were at CRT with an under 3 was ~2.5 years ago. We went for dinner. I was asked if he wanted noodles buttered or with sauce, we went for buttered. They also brought my ds out some vanilla ice cream and a sword. No charge.

I figured they might give her the wand. Hopefully her smacking phase will have ended by then .:)

In case anyone was curious - they gave her a card, the wand, a star, a plate of cheese and fruit, ice cream, milk, and a cupcake. She was happy.
