Cinderella's Not So Royal Table

the only time i went to this restaurant was in 1993 on our first trip... i think then it was called King Stephan's Banquet?! it was not a character meal - and all I can really remember was that the butter was shaped like Mickey!!

planning to book it for this summer's trip - as we will be taking a four year old who is a BIG Disney Princess fan.. also hoping to get her an appointment at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique that afternoon too, so she is ready to meet Cinderella :)
also going to book Akershus so she can meet the other princesses.

will keep an open-mind about CRT as it seems to get the most mixed reviews of any restaurant on property!

Barbie princess:

We've been once for breakfast (back in 2004) and had an enjoyable time there. CRT is the only place that DD7 has asked to go back to, so will be going for lunch this April.

The points I would like to add about dining in the castle are:

Everyone should do it at least once. princess:
It's more of an experience than a fabulous dining extraveganza. ;)
Even if adults are a little disappointed in the food and/or service, kids always have a good time! :goodvibes
Don't expect children (especially younger ones) to be able to eat - they are usually too excited to be in the castle and meeting the princesses. :cutie:

If we don't enjoy lunch this time around, we'll know that we've been there, done that and won't need to go back in the future. :upsidedow

We've eaten at the castle twice in the last 3 years and I have to say the food is very average for what it coses, but then again we are all paying for the experience of eating in the castle and that is what CRT is all about.

Eating in the castle back in the early 80's, I remember them having a very good french onion soup. Menu and experience has changed drastically since then.
