Cinderella's lunch,San Angel Inn

This is the last of our table service reviews from our recent trip. DW & I had lunch at Cinderella's on Monday, April 19th. Once inside the castle we were able to get our picture taken with Cinderella & have a brief conversation before being called up to our table. It was our first time in the castle & we both thought it pretty cool. I decided on the soup of the day & DW chose the side salad. We also split The Coachman sandwich. The salad was fresh & she loved the dressing. The soup,I believe it was called cream of mushroom with beef, was outstanding. It truly was one of the best soups I've ever tasted! The pretzel-type bread that came with the meal was very good, too. The sandwich we would rate as pretty good--kind of on the small side for the price. We would return again for the soup & salad & try a different entree. The service was very good & they had no problem with us sharing our meal. It was fun to finally get a chance to see inside the castle.

We were 10 minutes late for Thursday, April 22nd 5:00 P.S at San Angel Inn, but still got seated right away. I started with a lime frozen margarita & DW got her usual strawberry variety. Both were delicious. The chips & salsa brought to the table were very tasty. The salsa was full of tomato chunks like we prefer. We ordered the Queso Fundido for 2 & the nachos. We split these for our meal & both were great. We have eaten here many times & this has become our meal of choice--we never had much luck with the entrees. Our waitress was very attentive & efficient. It was another great time a beautiful, romantic atmosphere.

Thanks for the review. I have to admit to loving the Coachman, though. Also love that Queso Fundido.
