We did this for the first time in December for DDs 7th birthday and we loved it, the food was good with a reasonable choice from the buffet but the characters here were the best they all spent lots of time chatting with DD as well as posing for photos and signing her autograph book.
We also visited a few old favourites from previous visits but found them very disappointing this time around, whether that was due to the time of year, although it didn't seem any busier in the restaurants than our Oct visits, or whether it has something to do with the DDP I don't know, but both Chef Mickeys and Crystal Palace were so bad they are now dropped from our must do list (we made the mistake of visiting CP, our one time favourite, twice so we know it wasn't just an off day). We also did Donald's Breakfast at AK which was okay but still more rushed than previously.
In truth, 1900 is now the only Character meal I would consider going back to.
Excellent choices there Claire ~ Looks as though you are doing all of the character meals with the exception of Garden Grill and the one at the Beach Club.
If you are thinking of another one ~ I can recommend The Garden Grill. The restaurant floor actually rotates
We did the Breakfast at Ohana's as well, it was very good although we didn't get to meet Stitch till the last minute we had loads of time and fun with Lilo (she insisted my big 6ft 2 DH stand up and kiss her on the cheek, not being one to refuse a lady he of course obliged )
we're gonna book it for after our vow renewal in Dec, mainly so I can get some pics of us in our wedding outfits with Cindy etc but if food is nice it's a bonus
