I found out the windows will be blocked at Cinderella's Castle due to refurbishing from Jan 2011-June 2011. We're visiting DW for our first time with my DD4. I already had ADR at the Castle for breakfast, but since the view will be blocked, do you think it's worth going?

We sat in a table towards the back/side...and it didn't cross my mind once to check out the view. We didn't have a clear view from where we were sitting to even make it cross my mind!

Besides, all those princesses, yummy food, and the wishing ceremony going on, it would still be the last thing on my mind.

We've never looked out the windows or sat anywhere near them. Your DD will love it. It's all about being INSIDE the castle and seeing the Princesses!

It was my DD4's 1st visit also and her time at CRT was wonderful! There's so much going on inside the castle, there's no time to even wonder if you can see outside!

Another voice saying that you can barely see outside anyway (the stained glass windows have a few pieces here and there that are clear glass) and that it's all about being inside the castle.

Enjoy!

getting a window table but haven't had any luck. We've enjoyed each of our meals there. I'm sure we'll go next summer wether the windows are blocked or not. If they are blocked taking picture may be easier.

You will cancel a most sought after reservation because of a view?

Suppose if you didnt even get a window seat?
Not all tables are at windows. Much more is spread in themiddle

You will need to ask yourself if the view (not that there is any guarantee that you would get a table with a view anyway) is more important than eating with the princesses in the castle - only you can answer that. You can have a bit of a view of Fantasyland, but only if you are seated at a table right beside one of the windows facing that direction. This is not a restaurant people attend for the view, and since you booked breakfast it appears you aren't trying to see any fireworks from there (some people do book dinner for the fireworks, although the view is limited)

I'm not even sure there is a view, as previous posters have mentioned. We were there a year ago and I seem to recall not even looking for a view, and that all the windows were of stained glass, not providing much of a chance to look out. Not that we missed it! All the fun and activity was centered around the tables, you're not even aware that there's a view to miss! LOL!
