I am assuming that they lights are up on the castle already. We are thinking of having our engagement pictures taken on Dec. 13th, hopefully the same place that lurkyloo had hers done. I am worried that they lights will look funny at 9:30 am and we won't get any great castle shots. Anyone know what it looks like during the day with the lights on?

We saw them last year during the day and they really do blend into the castle. That being said, we are getting married this November 10 and our MK shoot is scheduled for November 11. I am nervous about how they will show up at 5:00am but as we really want this I am hoping they blend in when taken with a professional camera. Are you doing your own photos, are you having a Disney photographer take them or an outside photographer? I am wondering if they can be photoshopped out if they show up to much.

we are having the roots take them during the day so I am hoping that they don't look too bad, but they probably won't even be in that many pictures anyways. Thanks!

If you mean from the Poly, then yes, the lights blend in. You hardly notice them in the park and in pics in the park, you notice them less.

We were there last December and you couldn't even 'see' the lights on the castle until they were lit. You had to really LOOK to see them so I doubt they'll show up in photos.

Let's see... we took our engagement pix at Wilderness Lodge and the Polynesian, so the only shots we had with the castle were from Sunset Pointe. I don't think you could have seen Mickey on the roof, let alone the Christmas lights! :rotfl:

Lurkyloo,
I loved your engagment shoot! We are actually using the roots thanks to you! I hope ours are half as beautiful as yours!
