Next trip we are travelling with my BIL and his family who have never been to WDW. Their one request is that their little girl meet Cinderella, her favorite princess. We've been to CRT with my girls and enjoyed it. But now with the new Cinderella meal at GF I'm wondering which one to book. Any advice from any who have done both meals would be appreciated. I would like to know if Cinderella visits your table there, how the food was, atmosphere, etc. Thank you!!

We did both meals on our trip last month. The dinner at the GF is very good. The Fairy Godmother sits in the lobby, and Cindy, the Prince, Suzy, and Perla come around to the tables. They will hit your table once for an autograph and pictures. If you happen to still be there when they come around again (it takes about an hour for them to make a round) they will say hi again but not spend much time. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very nice, and the GF is a wonderful resort to walk around.

You've been to CRT so you know the drill. At this breakfast you have the added benefit of more princesses.

Yu can't go wrong with either one. If your niece is into all things Cinderella she might enjoy the other characters from the movie. If she is into all things princess, getting more of them at CRT would be good. Of course, if you can't get CRT (and it can be difficult to get) you may not have a choice. YOu could also see which fits better in your schedule and let that be a deciding factor.

Either way she will get to talk to and hug Cindy, and get her autograph and pictures.

Keep in mind in case of crisis (you oversleep through breakfast or some such) that Cindy is usually available at the Toontown Hall of Fame, too. :)

We've done both - and I would suggest dinner at GF.
You get to see Cindy, plus mice, FGM, and Prince Charming. If she is a big fan of Cindy+ this would be the one.
As well, you will be able to get a PS easily and won't have to go through the stress of getting a PS at CRT at 60 days.
I found dinner much less hurried, it's a buffet so you can take you time and have good selections for everyone (even those picky eaters) (Don't forget to try the strawberry soup) and the kids buffet is nice.
My advise would be try to get an early PS (ours was 5:10pm) to get right in and seated. All the characters came by our table twice, and FGM is outside in the hall. We just waited until she didn't have a line, went out to see her, then back in for desert. DH stayed at table (and kept eating!)
The atmosphere in the castle is nice, but I much preferred the more relaxed setting at 1900 Park Fare. As well we didn't feel it was worth the $$ for a bfast that was preplated. Even though it was nice at CRT, I felt they wanted us in and out as soon as they could. (We had first PS at this one too)
At GF, since we ate early, we just went over to MK for the evening.
I hope this helps
