Why does the grandmother allow Max & Ruby to live in a house by themselves?

DH & I have often wondered (and had many conversations about) what happened to Max & Ruby's parents. Ruby is raising Max...

Okay my kids are on a Phineas and Ferb kick... I've been wondering when watching these....

1. How do the parents not see these things MILES down the road sometimes
2. where are they getting the money for their stuff
3. If Candace wants to catch them why she doesnt just take a pic w/ her cell phone.
4. Is it Mr Slushy Dog or Mr Slushy Burger

The Pluto thing drives my oldest nuts too and he is only 3.5.

I would assume that they also have some type of person that does groundskeeping. He probably put out those traps.

I've often wondered about Arthur. We know Arthur's supposed to be an aardvark, I think... I think Francine is supposed to be a monkey. Buster is a rabbit, Mr. Ratburn is of course, a rat. George the Moose. But what is Prunella? What is Muffy? What about the Brain? What is Binky? What is Fern? Is she a dog? If so, why does Arthur have a pet dog? Wouldn't Pal be a citizen of Elwood too? If Sue Ellen is a cat, why does Francine have Nemo? So many questions, so few answers...

I've been trying to figure out what has been nagging at me, and I finally did. Not Disney related, not half hour show related, but animated all the same.

Surf's Up. LOVE that movie, I cry almost every time when Jeff Bridges talks about how he was lost for a while....anyway.

When exactly is the documentary crew filming the family? It starts off with Cody being interviewed, but they are interviewing him "for" the contest, which he doesn't know is on the horizon. They can't interview him after he is chosen, as he goes off on the whale immediately after being chosen. etc etc etc.

I adore the movie, but augh that bugs me. And why doesn't the film crew help out Chicken Joe? As for that, must be a big film crew b/c some are with Chicken Joe and others are off with Cody and Z.

I think that the better question about Max and Ruby is

A.) Where does Ruby get all that PATIENCE from? If I could bottle her patience and sell it I would be a friggin' millionare! All I here on that show is her constantly saying in the most polite voice EVER "no, no max..." Just once I would like her to get to the point I get on a daily basis and scream "how many times do I HAVE to tell you....!!!"

B.) who wrote their theme song because he/she is an evil genius. Its just the title of the show over and over again, yet I ALWAYS get the stupid song stuck in my head all day!

Here's one... The character's on Franklin are all animal's, in fact Franklin is a turtle. So how does he buy a puppy as a pet? Shouldn't the puppy be his classmate?

Also why doesn't Franklin's friends have names? They are called the animal they are. So technically Franklin should be called Turtle. It drives me nuts every time I watch it.

A.) Where does Ruby get all that PATIENCE from? If I could bottle her patience and sell it I would be a friggin' millionare! All I here on that show is her constantly saying in the most polite voice EVER "no, no max..." Just once I would like her to get to the point I get on a daily basis and scream "how many times do I HAVE to tell you....!!!"

if donald doesn't wear pants, why does he wrap a towel around his waist when he gets out of the shower....how come goofy can talk and pluto can't.....

Does Andy from Toy Story(and#2) have a Dad? His sister is just a baby and they buy a new house but you never see a Dad. Perhaps Mom has a sugar daddy?

Honestly, I don't think Andy has a daddy in the picture. At the beginning of Toy Story, he is running around in a Jessie hat, leading me to believe that woody and all the Woody swag used to be his mom's. Maybe that is why they were moving...hmmmmm

Same with Little Bear....and why are his parents the only animals with clothes on? His daad runs around in a 3 piece suit, but all the other animals are naked!!! My kids ask me that all the time!

Really, its Tico that drives the car (notice that the cabby doesn't speak English. Sterotype, much? Boots dad's the engineer... native English speaker. I'm just sayin'). I keep wondering what the heck is wrong with Dora's parents - they let her run off to the south pole with only a monkey and a squirrel. Someone really should call CPS.

I also wonder when she gets across crocodile lake and the boat gets destroyed on her way to tallest mountain, how the dickens she gets home.

DH and I have this whole theory about her grandmother being a Soviet-era spy in hiding.

DH and I always laugh about Ruby raising Max as well.

Right now DS is on a kick w/ Pinky Dinky Do. He HAS to be eating something during the "Eat It or Wear It" part or it is melt down city. I still don't get the concept and why do they use a grilled cheese. It is just an odd show.

Andy's mom's. Since it was a Jessie hat he was wearing, Jessie is a girl...so it probably belonged to a girl...
And when they went out to dinner, and during the move, mom was driving.

I know the Wiggles aren't as big as they used to be, but what was up with Anthony and Dorothy- she was always flirting with him! Kinda creepy to think about! And there were two dancers that were always dancing next to each other, I made up back stories about them.

And back to Dora- why couldn't they get another voice actor for Swiper or the map...its really annoying!

My DD loves the movie Cinderella. In fact, when the TV is on, that is usually what is playing. This morning as I was listening to it for what was probably the 100th time, I wondered why was Gus Gus in a mouse trap? Cinderella is who takes care of the home, so she would have had to be the one to set the mouse trap. Since she is the animal lover, it makes no sense for her to have set the trap. The stepmother or the sisters would have never done work, so how did the trap get there?

I know...a rather odd observation/question.

oh no no no, you have it backwards. Max ALWAYS ends up right. If he keeps saying "truck", you know that truck will be in the piano, causing the piano key to be flat. If he keeps doing something, you KNOW that's the answer to whatever problem she keeps patiently working on. OK so maybe the bathtub episode where he ends up all different colors might not fit into that, but I can't remember the end of that, so oh well. Anyway, Ruby drives me nuts and I wish she would just listen to her little brother.



Nothing to do with these sort of questions...but do you think J. Lo ever watched Dragon Tales before naming her twins?
