My DD and I were looking at some catalogs and we are already things for Halloween. So we got talking and she wants to be Cinderella for Halloween. We usually have several halloween parties (we host one, church, school, dance class, etc...etc...) so I want one that will hold up. Maybe even to washing. We had gotten one but it was a cheap dressup dress.

Also, we are goinig to WDW in Jan, so I figure she can wear it then too.

So I'm looking for a good quality on. Anyone have any suggestions as to where to get it.

The Disney Store

My DD wore hers from last year to:

A Costume wedding
4 Halloween parties
2 full days at Pre-K
Trick or Treat

She Still wears it for dressup play it is good as new ( wash on gentle cycle in zippered case, hang to dry) We may take it to Disney next month

I usually buy them at the Disney Store, too and they are really durable. My DD plays in hers until they are too small and then we pass them on.

My favorite Cinderella dress (although we do not have it) is through Lillian Vernon. It looks really authentic, but I can't tell you about the quality. Happy shopping!

disneyshopping.com has the princess dresses on sale right not for $29.00 and the crown/wand combo for $9.99. Also, they have the deluxe Cinderella gown and the deluxe Cinderella wedding gown. They are $75.00, but are beautiful. I bought the deluxe Cinderella gown for my oldest daughter a few years ago, along with the velvet cape with fur trim, the brocade shoes and the wand and tiara. It was expensive, but she wore it numerous times and now my middle daughter is going to wear it to dinner with Cinderella in a few weeks. It is still in great condition and I am sure that my youngest daughter will wear it next year.

After Halloween will the Disney Store run the dresses any cheaper, or should I order one now. I don't need one for a while since they are for our Disney trip.

Thank you! I actually went to the disney store and they didn't have any. I was really surprised.

disneyshopping.com has a pretty good sale on the regular princess dresses right now. Right before halloween everything will be on sale, probably even the deluxe dresses - they were last year.

There was a Cinderella Dress on ebay it is under Granny's Magical Attic if this link doesn't work....

i ordered the Wendy costume and was extremely pleased!

Thank you for the tip. Her dresses are beautiful. It's jsut that the 100 is more than i wanted to spend. To be honest i'm not sure why it's 100. most of the others are half the price. Plus severaly of them are more detailed then the cinderella one but still like half the price. hmm.... weird...

Anyway, thanks again. It is beautiful! Just a little more than i wanted to spend

I don't know how fancy or how much you are willing to spend but Sam's has dresses in the seasonal aisle for $20.00. princess: I purchased a Belle dress for my 5 year old cousin. It will be her Christmas present.:santa: We are spending the holiday in Orlando.

My Sam's club had Belle, Snow White, Tink, Cinderella, and Sleeping Beauty.:tinker:
