Cinderella Castle Refurbishment- No view?

Hey everyone,

This is my first post so "hello".

I understand the back of the castle is being refurbished and the view from the restaurant will be blocked looking into Fantasyland.

Does anyone know what the view will now be? Is the backside of the cover used to cover the refurbishment.

I am booked in for 12 May and was wondering what I will be looking at from the window.

I just heard about this from a friend going the week before me in May... I am curious as well since we have an ADR there.

This is what it said on the Disney website:

Reservations from Jan 11 - June 30, 2011: Due to a refurbishment of portions of the back side of Cinderella Castle taking place, elements of the restaurant will be refurbished and there will be themed window coverings that will not detract from your experience, but will block the view into Fantasyland.

I wonder what the theming looks like? Anyone seen a picture?

When the search feature comes back up, try a search. Someone posted a photo a while ago, I remember.

We were at CRT three weeks ago, and there were no window views. In fact, now that I think of it, I can't remember if I actually saw any windows - they may have been covered up with curtains or tapestries or something (shows you how much I was paying attention). Whatever they did, it was not obvious or noticeable at all, and did not affect the overall "inside the castle" ambiance.
