Has anyone ordered the chicken and pasta dish and have the Chef remove the pine nuts for allergies.

I haven't, but since it's not listed as tree nut-friendly, I suspect the pine nuts are not removable.

I can't imagine attempting to remove them from a serving would be accepted procedure, not to mention taking time kitchen staff doesn't have.

Choosing something else is the better option. Every other entree, I noted, is labeled tree nut friendly.

I tried contacted the special diets team and all they said was they will forward my request to the team. Right now I have the choice between CRT and BOG if they can’t accommodate. This is what they responded with:

Thank you for contacting the Special Dietary Resorts Team at the Walt Disney World® Resort.

We will forward your information along with your request to our Chef Teams at Cinderella's Royal Table at Magic Kingdom® park. Should you update any reservations, please contact us and provide an updated Guest Allergy Dietary Request form, as we do not update your form on your behalf, so that we may inform our Chefs.

Once you arrive at each dining location, please alert your server and ask to speak with a Chef or Manager. They'll be happy to let you know how they can best assist with your request.

In my experience at Space220,forwarding the form meant we got a double side of French fries and grilled chicken or beef; they didn’t even have veggies without milk/nuts (our son only ate the fries; at Topolinos he finished all his chicken and pasta).

That's just a form response that doesn't necessarily mean they can alter the dish as needed.

I may be skeptical because I had so few g-f/d-f choices when we were at WDW in the fall. We eat almost entirely at TS because DH is allergic to peppers of all sorts and then I'm g-f/d-f intolerant. What was g-f wasn't d-f on the allergy menu and vice versa most of the time. If I didn't fancy the one dish that was okay, there was often nothing but steak and salad, because chefs said that most menu items were now pre-prepared and couldn't be made safe by leaving out the unsafe sauce or serving it on the side, for instance.

Sad to say, unless things get closer to pre-pandemic allergy-friendly Disney, you won't find many accommodations made that aren't listed on the allergy-friendly menu. Only 3 TS chefs modified dishes for me. The others said they had no raw ingredients to give me a plain piece of chicken or fish, for instance, which is why I ate more steak than I wanted.

It’s a late dinner, so maybe we will just grab some beans and rice from Pecos Bill. Our son (5) does not eat steak. We have a 2.5 year old (surprisingly no allergies so far) who can have the kids meal instead.
