Cinderella’s Royal Table.

I dunno. We actually enjoy the CRT princesses more. (Well, DH does for sure. He claims he likes the food. Yup, it's the food...uh-huh.)

Akershus is great for kids with that parade around the room, tho.
I preferred the Akershus food personally. With all the increased costs though if everything returns to normal we may have to do just 1 princess meal and if the wishing star event (my girls really want to do that again for some reason) and more princesses return to CRT it will likely be that one and I'll just have to learn to cook more items.

The food at CRT really surprised us. There is no bread service. The mushroom soup was so delicious (same soup as Story book dining - see allears review on that one-Molly has multiple servings of it). We had mussels as well which were a decent serving. Beef tenderloin was perfectly cooked and a good cut of meat. Our son received pasta with marinara and grilled chicken (we had filled a special diets form (milk, eggs, cashew, kiwi and sesame allergies) and the kitchen team had called us a few days before our reservation). Highly recommend the 50th wine flight (it’s fun). We were full.

Cinderella never showed up for waving (ADR was 9:25 pm; we checked in early but got seated on time). No wishing ceremony (kids didn’t know what to do with the stars). Wands and swords are only handed to you as you leave (when our teen was little we went every year from when she was 4 to 11) so magic was diminished where the character interaction was concerned. There was no photo pass photographer downstairs (we had someone take photos with our own camera).

The service was extremely slow so we had our desserts packed (they had allergy friendly cookies) and cancelled the lost slipper dessert.

We are BOG fans now, but CRT will be on our list to repeat once the princesses are back.

This was the only Cinderella I needed to see. This was post-Covid before crowds came back. We really enjoyed the meal and can now cross CRT off our bucket list. Oh, using our extended TIW discount didn't hurt also.
