is the castle open to walk straight through (i.e. to Fantasyland) during EMH or will we have to go to another spoke and walk around to it? I vaguely remember having to walk around years ago, but this could have been due to the Fantasyland construction.

It won’t be open because the Welcome Show takes place on the Castle Stage and the walkway is prepped for the show.
