Does Delta have a direct flight from Cincinnati to Orlando? If not, you might consider flying from Springfield to Dayton on Delta, which involves a change of planes in Cincinnati, but then you could get a direct Delta flight from Dayton to Orlando. I know there's an 11:00am direct flight out of Dayton to Orlando, and a direct flight back from Orlando to Dayton either at 8am or 3pm. I don't know if this would help you any, but thought you might want to check it out.

P.S. Have you tried going to the Delta web site and plugging in your dates from Springfield (is it SGF?) to Orlando (MCO) to see what they come up with? I've been watching air fares from Dayton to Orlando, so I'm on their site a couple of times a day. I picked some random dates in April, and found two options that offered a Delta flight from Springfield to Cincy, and then another Delta flight from Cincy to Orlando - with no other stops - (at least, going down).

When we lived in Pgh and flew Delta we flew to Cincy and connected there. We flew to Orlando with no problems. I would pick Cincy to connect rather than Chicago. Chicago always has some type of delay.

yep we have taken that flight....no problemos....always on time...we always fly out first thing in the morning..

Cincinnati is a Delta hub along with Atlanta, Dallas Fort Worth and Salt Lake City.

So yes, they have one or two or three direct flights. ;)
