Is this a hard airport to figure out? We'll have about a 40 minute layover each way & I just want to be sure that it's plenty of time for 3 inexperienced travelers to get where we're going. Thanks!

It's on the smaller side and user friendly. If you are connecting on the same airline, you will likely be in the same concourse.

Should be OK, but if you're connecting to/from a Comair/Delta Connection flight to/from a Delta flight, it might be a bit tight.

Uh-oh. I'm confused now. I'm flying Delta all the way. So is that going to be a problem?

If you're on a true Delta flight the entire way, no problem. If you're flying on Comair/Delta Connection (which may show up as a Delta flight without a closer look) on one leg and Delta on another, you need to actually change buildings to make your connection.

Or if you are on two ComAir commuter flights, you will be in the same terminal. That terminal is recently remodeled and is really nice!

Oops! I am on a ComAir & then transferring to a Delta. But, I'm in the 5th row on the plane, so I won't have to wait on way too many people ahead of me. And, we won't have a ton of carry-ons. Plus, I think I'm going to print a copy of the airport map (if I can find one online) to have with me. That way, I'll at least have an idea of which way to go. The bad news is that my DH may just have to deal with going to the tiny bathroom on the plane b/c we may not have time to stop for potty breaks at the airport! :rotfl:

I have flown into Cincinnati on Comair and transfered to Delta. I had to take a shuttle bus to another terminal. If your flight is on time then you should have no problems, but can't mess around.

I had a connecting flight in Cincy. I too was an unexperienced traveler. You really shouldn't have any problems at all. As another said you will have time but not enought time to poke around. We had to get off the plane, we were in the back, get on a shuttle to another concourse and still made it in time. I went online to study the Cincy airport to become aquainted with the concourses before our trip. That helped greatly.

Thanks guys! I am so ready for my trip that I can't even imagine missing our connecting flight. I think we'll be fine as long as we have everything packed up & ready to go as soon as the plane lands.
