Is there anywhere on the Disney Wish where you can purchase cigars, or do you have to bring them along? I noticed it does not have the Meridian Lounge like some other ships.
It is not quite as relaxing as its open air but still nice as its a bit separate - just be aware of trying to light cigars/cigarettes when it can be breezy! They only have a select few onboard. It was easier for us to bring our own. I haven’t been on the Wish yet, but the smoking section looks like it is above the Cove Cafe. I hope it is as relaxing as the Meridian was!
I brought a few cigars and just smoked them on my verandah in the evenings. Never had any issues and didn’t bother anyone since the smoke drifted away quickly.

This is explicitly forbidden, both for safety reasons and for the effect it can have on other guests.I brought a few cigars and just smoked them on my verandah in the evenings. Never had any issues and didn’t bother anyone since the smoke drifted away quickly.
I was not a fan of the smoking area above quiet cove. I'm not a smoker, but as someone who spent a lot of time in the adult pool/pool area, when the ship was moving depending on the wind the smoke would blow right into the adult pool area. It wasn't enough that I had to leave, but it was noticeable (though I am extra sensitive to it).Attached are the views from the smoking area by currents bar at night and the quiet cove sundeck area during the day (we were in Nassau).
I guess you feel it's okay for you to break the rules since it'd be hard for anyone to pinpoint where it's coming from.
There is a reason all cruise lines have banned smoking on verandahs.

I get your point. However, it's made really clear on DCL that smoking is prohibited on balconies. In that regard, to me it doesn't matter if they're a veteran here or a newbie, since that's a DCL rule (not a DisBoards rule). That's a new member here and only the second post. As a cast member, I would ask that you please don’t do this again on any future cruise, but instead use the dedicated smoking areas. If you do get caught smoking on your verandah you can get into all sorts of troubleI brought a few cigars and just smoked them on my verandah in the evenings.
