I've started seeing commercials for CiCi's Pizza. There is one near our condo in Kissimmee, and all you can eat for under $5 is pretty appealing, especially when you're a pizza lover! Has anyone eaten there? Is the food OK?

There is one just outside DTD on Palm Parkway. We walk there often from Cypress Pointe. While it's not gourmet pizza it's fresh, good ingredients and they'll try to make you any pizza you want if they don't have it out already (don't try for too many toppings though). Great value. Cash only.

It's not the best pizza, but it is good enough for the price. It is also a fun to choose from the different types of pizza that they offer.

They have some great desserts too!;)

My husband is in the food business and they type of food CiCi's provides is what they call "belly stuffers" meaning that it is not the greatest quality but very filling. That being said, CiCi's is very accomodating. They will make just about any combination of pizza you want provided they have the ingredients on hand. Then they either call you or bring some to your table when it is ready. It is an okay place to eat if you do not have "great expectations."

they also provide a small salad bar with a few toppings so thats a nice touch!

Where is it near Cypress pointe?

Is it in the same plaza as the Winn Dixie? or is it further?

Or is it in the opposite direction closer to Goodings?

It's actually just before Goodings plaza. When you leave CP turn left onto the 535...at the first light turn left again (on Palm Parkway) and CiCi's will be on your right just a few seconds down the road.

It's a block up Palm Parkway (the road between those two stores). On your right, there will be a shopping plaza. The Carving Station is the most visible tenant, there's also a Kobe steakhouse and a Hooters. CiCis is kind of off by itself on the far right of the parking lot, in a stand-alone building.

Personally, I think CiCis' pizza is vile, even by Floirida standards--I grew up outside New Haven, so I'm a pizza snob--but my financially-challenged friends in college swear by it. No question it is the cheapest meal around. In addition to the (small) salad bar, they usually have pasta with a couple sauces and dessert pizzas and brownies.

Ok--I'm trying to visualize this.
(I'm a little slow trying to picture places while driving while in reality over a 1000 miles away)

The Cici's is NOT in the plaza with Giordano's/Steak and Shake, right? There is also a vile Sizzler near there.

So I would exit the main Cypress Point entrance and make a left towards Goodings--

Make a left on 535 (going right would take me to Downtown Disney, correct?).

After the left on 535, I will see this. I remember seeing the Hooters sign--you can't miss that.

I ask because at this trip I will have one almost teen boy that has been eating me out of house and home recently. We've done pizza buffets in the past, and my DH can pack it away there as well.

Our local CiCi's has problems with their salad bar, everytime we have ever ate a salad there , we have gotten sick. When we just eat the pizza we are fine.Just thought I might warn you all, STAY AWAY FROM THE SALAD ;)

If you like Buffalo Wings or spicey food - they have a great Buffalo Chicken pizza - also their cinnamon rolls are wonderful. Nice inexpensive alternative on vacation.

:thumbsup2

Yes, that's it. Palm Parkway is a big intersection, there's a 7/11 on the corner. You might not see CiCis right away, but the Hooters is easy to spot, as is the Carving Station now that it is wrapped in neon. (To be a stickler, going right would actually take you behind WDW, not to Downtown Disney; for that, you need to turn right at the next light, across from the shopping center where Goodings is.)

Speaking of all-you-can-eat places for your son, I've had some decent experiences with the "NY" Chinese place next to Steak n Shake. I also had really one bad meal there, but that was at lunch, when there is less turn-over. So stick with dinner.

BTW, I totally agree on the Sizzler being vile--while I'm no fan of CiCis, I'd eat there any day of the week over that Sizzler.

Ok thanks for the clarification. We are staying at Cypress Point so that seems like a pretty easy place to get to. Its easy to picture this even though I'm 1000 miles away!

I wish I knew about Cici's last year--we wound up at the Sizzler instead!

Don't fool with getting on 535 to get to CiCi's from Cypress Pointe. The road between CP and the shopping center with Steak and Shake and Giordono's curves around and ends on Lake Dr. This is the road beside the Winn-Dixie. Take a right and this road will end on Palm Parkway. Take a right onto Palm Parkway and look for the shopping center with CiCi's on your left. Much easier than dealing with the traffic and a left hand turn on 535. Happy eating!

hi, can you walk to CiCis from CP or do you need the car, not sure on distances.

I have walked it at least 10 times. It's about .5 to .7 miles depending on how many parking lots you are willing to cut through vs taking the public sidewalks. Either way its a nice walk (unless its raining).

I enjoyed CiCi's when I was eating it BUT.....afterwards not so much!! The first night I thought it was just the stomach flu but we ate there again a few days later and I ended up with really bad stuff coming out the back end(sorry if TMI)... :rolleyes1 I decided it must of been the pizza from CiCi's because the rest of the trip I felt fine.....

We went to the one on 192 in Old Town last time we were there. The kids loved it and the food was decent. I really liked the pasta and breadsticks. That one does not have a salad bar but they do have several premade salads that were quite good. The cinnamon rolls were a favorite of my kids. It was good food, clean place and CHEAP!!! We also got coupons in one of those books you pick up at every store around for 10% off. My kids can't wait to get back. I even signed up for a franchise up here once they get licensed in this state.

Sign up to this site, it gives you 20% off at CICI's.
It also has Buy 1 get 1 free hot fudge sundae vouchers at Ghiridellis at Downtown Disney. You can print 1 off per month for each account plus unlimited 20% off vouchers (alot better than Disney's 10% off AP disc.)
Other vouchers also but these are the ones we used no problems last week.
http://www.saversguide.com/custom/demoprint/default/jsp/content/pages/splash.epi
register with a Fl zip code (I used Disney's own:) ) then it allows you to print vouchers that relate to that area.
