Churros

Are they really as good as I have heard?

They are sooooo yummy! Skip the dipping sauces though! Just have a plain old churro. YUM!

They are sold all over the parks at the vendor carts. You can find them in almost every land!

I'll be eating one on Friday!

Churros are up there with Dole Whips as one of DL's best snacks. I agree though don't bother with the carmel or chocolate dipping sauces. Just eat them the way they were intended to be eaten. You can also find them pretty much everywhere.

Churros are my family's all-time favorite snack in DL. I haven't a clue as to what they're made of, but they have a warm, delicate, cinnamon & sugar crispy, yet doughy, texture that melts on your tongue. When we were at DL in 2001, you could find vendor carts all over the park.

By the way....we tried them at WDW....not the same at all.

Our family loves churros. We stopped eating them at WDW a few years back when a seagull swooped down and took it out of dh's hand leaving a huge scratch. We were very lucky he didn't take ds's because he was only 2 at the time. We have a picture of ds falling asleep with one in his mouth. We took a picture, then removed it... just in case.

Dippin sauces? Sounds heavenly. I can't imagine improving on them.

I usually HATE churros. Seriously, most of the time I think they are nasty. However, there is something about Disneyland churros... I eat one at least once a day when I'm there... so go figure! Dland churros OWN all other churros

Yum..we just had them last week for breakfast one morning..$3.00 apiece is a bargain..I went to the one across from the Matterhorn..and a very handsome hispanic was running it..He had 5 other cm's standing there with him..and I asked him why there were so many people with him..He smiled and then asked."How many Mexicans does it take to make a churro?" I responded with 5?..He laughed and let me have one of my churros for nothing...What a great way to start my morning...

Absolutely LOVE Churros, but I do like the caramel dipping sauce. Did they really get rid of the sauces? We always get one on the other side of the grizzly river rapids just before entering the pier area and in Disneyland at the end of the evening next to the canon before you go under the bridge to exit.
