There are two ways to look at this:
1) What would God want you to wear?
Well to be honest, God dosen't care at all what you wear! Church clothes is only a concept that man has created. No one should ever feel like they can not come to worship God, because of the clothes they are wearing. Rember, God is with us and he is everywhere, even when you are not at church. You do not have to be at church to worship him. By striving to follow His ways (none of us are perfect), we are worshipping him.
2)What is respectful?
Now, with the above being said, some people do see it offending and disrepctful to wear "Casual" clothes to church and not "church" clothes. We should want to respect the people around us, and if wearing certain clothing at certain venues shows disrespect we should avoid it. This is more of an ethics issue than a relegious issue, although some would like it to be. The only time it would be 100% wrong to not wear "church" clothes to church is when your parents ask you to wear them. That would be dishonoring your parents.
