We leave tomorrow! YAY! By this time tomorrow I will hopefully have checked in already and be in DTD for some lunch...hmm, maybe WPE or EoS?
I have mostly everything packed in my little wheelie suitcase, but just learned from one of my sisters that she wants me to bring an extra park bag for her, plus I had to buy all of them their water bobbles, so it looks like I will just be bringing a larger suitcase, but my larger suitcase is really a bit too big. But then I thought, hey, I have ME! I don't even have to lug my suitcase around most of the trip!
I'll be bringing 2 cameras with me, and they are *shocked* NOT DSLRs. I'll be bringing my trusty waterproof panasonic lumix point and shoot.
And my new Panasonic Lumix GF1 micro 4/3 system. If you dont' know what that means, don't worry, it's just a fancy way of saying it's a smaller version of a DSLR. I can change lenses and do the same things I can do with a dslr, but with the ease and size of a point and shoot. I'm looking forward to not having a sore neck from lugging the big camera around and being able to still take some nice and interesting shots! I'll be bringing 2 lenses for this camera: a 20mm 1.7 and a 14-45mm 3.5 zoom.
My new camera:
I hope my pictures come out well...AND I also pre-purchased the Photopass CD...so I think between are numerous cameras, we'll have a ton of pictures for this trip!
Thanks to everyone for reading my TR! I get to look forward to writing the next one and having you all along for the ride!

Thank you Dee!!
Thanks Tracy!!
Thank you!!
We didn't get that much snow in Manhattan. More just icy rain and it was very wet.
Yup those are fireworks after one of the daytime shows at the castle...something about Dreams...I can't remember.
I actually didn't use a Holga on this trip (but I have on a previous trip) - but it's probably becaues the processing I did included some vignetting and high saturation of colors so it "looks" like a it came from a holga! Good eye though!
Thank you!! I sure will!
Thanks Ann! Can't wait to read more on your PTR as I write my TR!

What a nice way to top off your vacation in the end! Are those fireworks during the day I see around the castle?
I LOVE the pictures you took with the Holga. It was with the Holga right?
I know exactly what you mean about bags!! I have SO MUCH of them. I think I'll need to have a closet just for bags when I move out...
