Chunkymonkey and Chubbyhubby Stuff Themselves Silly! THE END..on to the next TR!

Hi Kat! I see you are from Brooklyn! Go NYC!! Your blog looks fabulous too...all those delicious baked goods...and so pretty too! Good luck on your business! Welcome to my TR too, it's great to have you on board!

Yay NYC! Thanks for having me & for checking out the blog! Would you guys be interested in a Vinylmation Trading/Disney Meet/Visit to the new Times Square Store the end of November? I run a little group and we had a great time last time, I'd love to have you guys come too!

Glad to hear you're feeling better. Wow! TSM four times....excellent. I think tht's jut about my favorite ride and I loved the theming at DHS, even if I think there should be more attractions there. Yours is the second TR I've read in just as many days that had good things to say about the Writer's Stop. Might have to check it out; the interior shots look super cool.

That sucks about the pain. I hope it gets better!

Too funny about the girl doing the push ups. I would not have thought anyone would actually do that...especially in the heat.

Very cool on getting to ride TSM that many times!!!

I can't believe TSM didn't work 3x during your trip!

I hope your arm feels better soon.

I can't believe you're going to Hawaii in a couple of weeks!
I sooooo want to be you!!!!!!!!

Sucks about the pain, I hope you feel better soon!

I can't believe that young girl actually dropped and did 20 push-ups! I have yet to see those green soldiers walk around, after all the times I've been to DHS.

Wow, you guys are really good on TSM! Even without playing the bonus round, I can't believe you still almost broke 200,000 points! That's my goal for next month, to get at least 100,000 :rotfl: I'm always so bad at those games.

Oh yes, I can't wait for your pics of the SOUP! That paired with the pretzel bread is

The blonde lady in your picture of Minnie is a high school classmate of mine!!! :lmao:

Loving the updates!

YAY, I have time to catch up! I finished my lesson plans for tomorrow last night, and I already emailed parents during my prep period. Taking a break is definitely needed as I was convinced that today was Friday ...

I love love love beets! Howard doesn't like them, so it's interesting when I'm devouring them, and he just doesn't get me!

One of my favorite pizza places is Cafe Milano that was close to my college. Another place that I really like is Goodfella's. I think the sauce is the most important part of it. That's why I don't like white pies! I like a good tomato sauce with yummy sausage!

Oh man, I'm so glad Howard and I are going to Animal Kingdom in February! I don't think I'd last in the heat! But oh yum, that jalapeno cheese-stuffed pretzels looks SO GOOD!

Mmm, Boma soups! I'm excited to try those on my honeymoon! I know it's a long way off, but if we're staying at AKL, we'll definitely have the chance to sit and relax at Boma.

I cracked up at your chicken nugget story!

If Howard and I get married in NYC (which will probably happen), I'd want to know if you're willing to shoot our wedding! Haha, I think we'd be more comfortable with a fellow Asian. We've been getting recommendations of friends of our friends because we want to save money, of course, but not have the quality of the pictures suffer.

I love how Writer's Block looks too! I could definitely spend an entire day in there if it weren't inside a Disney park. Haha, because it is in a Disney park, I feel like I have to go and get my money's worth and ride!

I hope you feel better soon! :goodvibes

So jealous you're going to Hawaii!!! :cool1: I've always wanted to go there! PLEASE post some pics here when you get back! :thumbsup2

Great update! Can't believe you did TSM so many times! :rotfl: I can't wait to finally go on it for the first time in my life in a few weeks!

Can't wait to hear about Epcot! :)

You bet I will post some pics! I will have a laptop there so I may be able to post pics during our trip too. Hehe.

I know! We were qute lucky to go on it so many times, although it didn't actually work every time. You're going to have so much fun!

That sounds like fun! PM me the information! I'm not a Vinylmation trader but it'll be great to meet up with some fellow Dis'ers!

Writer's stop so cute. And it was so nice and quiet when we went too. They actually have pretty good coffee, for Disney!

That sucks about the pain. I hope it gets better!

Thanks! I do feel much better!

I know! That's why I had to take a picture. Can't believe she did them! I think the green soldier guy was also taken aback.

Thanks, I do feel better. I hopefully will be able to walk as much as I do regularly on vacation.

Surprisingly I didn't take that many pics in Le Celliler. Mostly because it's dreadfully dark inside, and also because so many people have seen pics of Le Cellier that mine woudln't be that different! LOL. I also didn't have my DSLR either.

Haha, thanks, we r pretty competitive when it comes to those types of games.

Oh really??!?! Wow, that is pretty cool. You can send her the pic that I took! LOL

Hi Rachel! I'm glad you took a break to come chat! When are you guys getting married? I'd be delighted to offer my services! PM me your email and I let you know more. Your honeymoon sounds super wonderful (who wouldn't agree with that one, I don't know!) hehehe.

I love beets, too, so I want to make sure you know about the roasted beet and goat cheese salad at Sunshine Seasons in EPCOT. SS is a fantastic counter serve place, lots of options. But every time I go, usually a couple times each trip, I order this. It has candied nuts and a cilantro-lime dressing.

Sorry to jack your thread!

Wow! TSM 4 times in one day! That's awesome! (Even though twice it wasn't working...still cool!)

I'm sorry to hear about the pain! :guilty: I have scoliosis and sometimes my back hurts so bad I can barely stand. I hate those days!

I can't believe that girl did 20 push ups! I don't think I could do one push up in the WDW heat! :sad2:

THANKS FOR SHARING! OH MY GOSH, that looks SO SO SO GOOD! I'd like that right now! We're going to have to head back to Sunshine Seasons for that salad because we have lunch ADRs for Le Cellier! Mmm, I think that beet salad might be as enticing as Le Cellier!

Great update... too funny about the four times thing... I wonder if anyone has lied and gone through twice, just because the CMs are so trusting! Or maybe they are just notified when the ride isn't working well!

I love that the girl actuallly did the push ups! That is too funny. I do girly, pushups myself, so she is pretty awesome in my mind. That being said" I hope she sanitizes her hands 1000 times before lunch!

So i put a mac question out there about rotating pics and the board my search took me to the question started off by chunkymonkey. HAHAHAHA:rotfl2: I was amused. I kept thinking how random is that. Anyway I hope you figured it out?

So after leaving DHS, we board the bus to AK. Now I have to be completely honest, AK is not my favorite park. I don’t know why, but it always feels hotter here than at any other park and usually I am too hot to actually enjoy my time there.

You know... that's what everyone says... but I actually feel cooler at AK because there are so many trees and most of the walkways are shaded!! Epcot feels the hottest to me because it's so open and the sun is just beating down you! At least at AK it's easy to find shady spots!!

Now, DH calls back, and I didn’t realize how much time I had spent in the store, but he managed to ride EE 4 times!

Okay, The Boyfriend and I need to start doing that! Because he complains I shop too much and don't go on enough rides!

We decided to head over to Dinoland and do Primevil Whirl. It probably one of the jerkiest coasters I have been on. It’s also really hot waiting on line, even though there was only a 15 minute wait.

You know... that's a ride I've never been on. Every year The Boyfriend and I talk about having a few drinks and then riding it... but we never seem to have time for it...

Soaked!! Which was fine by us since we were soooo hot. Luckily we had a spare change of clothes which DH carried in his backpack so we quickly go and change.

Such a good idea! When I rode it last year, I got soaked! Which felt good because it was such a hot day... but I ended up being pretty uncomfortable the rest of the day! I think when I got back to the hotel room that night my shorts still weren't fully dry!!!

When I described to her the menu from Boma, she scoffed at it saying that it was NOT authentic.

Ha, I guess it's American-ized African food... like how our Chinese food restaurants here are totally American-ized! I guess "inspired by" is a good way to put it!

At one point during dinner I looked over at DH’s plate, and saw a small breaded patty, and I asked, “Wow, is that some exotic potato pancake that I didn’t see? Is it some special fried dough or some exotic fish?” He looks at me and laughs and replies, “It’s a chicken nugget” LOL. Hahaha.

Okay you made me spit out my drink when I read that!!!

The passionfruit mousse (the orange dome thing) was good! I love passionfruit!

Me too!!! Passion fruit is my absolute most favorite flavor ever!!!!

And yay!!!!!! I'm all caught up!!!!

Just wanted to stop by and say HII and that I'm still here! We left on our 2 week Hawaiian vacation today, and after about 12 hours of travelling, we finally made it to Kona, on the Big Island. When we first landed, it was sort of cloudy and rainy but after 20 minutes, the sun came back out and it was gorgeous. It's really is a volcanic island here, when you drive around, most of the land is strewn with black vocanic rocks and boulders. Can't wait to do more exploring!

We rented a car and when I reserved, I got a full-sized car (very cheap via priceline). What I didn't realize was that they gave us a stark white lincoln town car. Sooooo not the car I was expecting for a vacation on the islands! I felt like I was a limo driver in NYC. I requested to change it and said that we'd even be ok with a mid-sized car, but somehow we got upgraded and we drove away with a massive Ford Expedition. It's super fun, now we can go off-roading and do stuff with wouldn't have been able to do without a 4-wheel drive. All for the same price!

We drove for about 30 mins to our resort, and even though we didn't go far, we were amazed by how remote and deserted the Big Island is, compared to all the other Hawaiian Islands. Driving north from the airport, there really isn't anything around, until when we turned into our resort area (Waikoloa Beach Resort), that's where all the big chains like Marriot and Hilton are, so there are much more stores, and people here.

We're here for 8 days and then move on to Maui for another week. Even though I may not have time to update my TR, I did want check in and say I'm still here! I actually have a post almost complete but it's on my desktop back home. Here on DH's laptop I don't have anything! But maybe I will pepper with a mini TR from Hawaii.

Aloha!! :flower3:

That is so exciting! I hope you have a great trip!

I can't wait to read all about it and see some pictures when you get back! :)
