My DH had to rent a car while the Toyota Rav 4 was being fixed due to the fender bender a few days ago, and he was able to rent a Pacifica! VERY NICE vehicle!;) This is the one Celine Dion used to sell. It is the 2005, and has the navigation system, and the back rear door has an auto opening with the key thingy.::yes:: However, its a little on the low side when getting in, I bump my head! Going to St. Augustine in it tomorrow!:wave2:

We drove a brand new rental one for a week. I really like it but it had a lot of rattles and it only had 2,000 miles.

bought one last November but couldn't help thinking it looked like a Ford Taurus wagon!

I think it is a nice car but too low for me.

I almost got to try one. I was renting a full size car for a couple of days and when I got to the rental place they didn't have any cars available. Since I had a reservation they were about to upgrade me to a Pacifica, at no extra charge, when one of the employees came in and mentioned they had just finished washing a recently returned car, in the size I wanted, so they gave me that instead. I was looking forward to trying the Pacifica. Maybe next time :D

 Here in Miami, they would have hi-jacked you, AND the WHOLE car.::yes:: How the heck did they steal the bumper?

They look nice, but there seems to be very little room in the back to put things like groceries, luggage, soccer stuff, etc.

Where do you put it all?

When the 3rd row of seats is up and in use, there isnt much storage...but with it down there is plenty. We also dont have kids so I am not carting sports equipment, etc. We also bought a dealer buy-back, so it was used and more loaded that we would have selected....only have the DVD player because of that and it has only been used for the "boys" when I am designated driver and they watch Caddy Shack! (I am a great wife! I put up with Drunk men and Caddy Shack!)

Vault - I want to know how they stole the bumper too. The back bumper or the front grill part? My rear bumper is plain...but the grill is cool!

 I thought the one Celine Dion was pushing was the Crossfire...the low sports car thing. The Pacifica is the wagon/van/SUV type, right?

No matter...I love my Sebring Convertible ;) :teeth:

The "me-too-mobile" of droptops. The only other one even more generic is the (yawn) mustang. I love having my customized 98 Sunfire convert - people are always stopping me in parking lots asking "what make/model of car is that?"

Ok, here's the deal. This is just like my car. Someone removed that front spoiler thingy - the dark gray thing. I guess they crawled under there and unscrewed the sucker. Sure enough, there's wires hanging now where the lights were.

Took my dang license plate, too.

DW has been driving one for over a year. We love it. The all wheel drive handles the FL afternoon frog chokers and the muddy dirt roads with no problem. We carry a German Shepard and a lab in the back with no problem. With the 3rd seats up we can carry up to seven. This thing is solid as a tank. I can highly recommend them.

Too funny!! DH bought an early loaded Pacifica; salesman said they played "Caddy Shack" on their group test drive. Guess it's a guy thang ;)

DH generally loves his. Does have an unresolved rattle (documented) and I'm uncomfortable with the driver's armrest position. A V-8 would be nice, but adequately peppy for its weight. Very responsive handling.

:scratchin I've never heard of a car described as "generic" but I guess the yawn means you'd find it boring. I find it understated but fun. To each their own.
...I do love my Sebring...it's gold with a black top. The Mickey antenna toppers at just the right touch too!:cool2:
I considered getting one in a dark shade of red but thought it screamed "mid-life crisis" a little too loudly ;)

OK, back to the topic at hand....Thanks for the comments on the Pacifica, folks! They've caught my eye on the road and I was wondering how people liked them .
